washington (cnn) -- the white house, attacked by critics for a now-retracted line about iraq seeking uranium from africa in president bush's state of the union address, has gotten some surprising support from former president clinton.. "i thought the white house did the right thing in just saying 'we probably shouldn't have said that,' " clinton told cnn's larry king in a phone interview tuesday evening.
it is incontestable that on the day I left office, there were unaccounted for stocks of biological and chemical weapons."
no, no, no! clinton cant be saying this, because the wmd claim was all bushs idea! it was bushs lie, wasnt it? didnt he mastermind this whole thing? how can the former president, a democrat, possibly believe this? wasnt the wmd claim fabricated as part of the right-wing agenda of controlling the worlds oil supplies? im so confused.

of course, plastic surgery does work wonders.......oh, and pictures can be faked....yeah, altered photos are possible, anyone whos ever flipped through a playboy knows that.........um, what else? oh, they couldve paid them both large sums of money to pose for the pictures, with a little help from the makeup guys at lucasfilm. the possibilities are endless really.

thanks for your response. so, i guess my real question would be, if tried in a court of law, and found guilty of their various known atrocities (i.e., dragging olympic athletes through a gravel pit, and then dipping them in a sewage tank to induce infection; picking random women off the streets to rape; murder, more murder, and then a few thousand murders....etc.), is it your stance that execution would be wrong, or just?

why the need for comparing the supposed british tactics with the u.s. tactics in some sort of "we are better" way? i remember a british poster going on about how even though he was against the war, at least the british had more p.c. names given to their missions, or something of that sort.....and i remember thinking, why the constant need for an intercontinental pissing contest? is everything about who is "better"? its funny, these are the same people carrying on about how americans are too nationalistic/patriotic.

well, most everyone....except for will who insists on using every thread of this type as a soapbox for his political opinions, and prisca who thinks this could just be a huge media conspiracy.......but yes, it is nice to see so many on opposite sides agreeing that its a good thing those two bastards are dead.

now, the war is over, the weapons were not used and of course have not been found.. how threatening could they be if they did not even use them when being invaded by a massive force (of the countries they hate)?!
perhaps, as many suspect, they didn't use them because they didn't have them?.
now we're being told that we'll have to be patient and give them time to find them.

As far as Liberia goes, mortars were being lobbed at the embassy, since we are actually getting attacked in that situation, then I think we have the right to defend ourselves. Again defense, I agreed with going into afganistan, but not Iraq.
our embassy being attacked IS NOT the reason we are sending peacekeeping troops to liberia. it may be the reason the first batch is being sent over (to protect the embassy), but its far from the main reason we are being asked to send troops.
