and since god most assuredly did not let his worshipper down, what a fellow believer does or does not do should have no bearing upon our personal relationship with our heavenly father.

i have not claimed to have a relationship with god, and im not sure why my relationship with god or lack thereof bares any importance to this particular topic. as a matter of fact, im quite sure it bares no importance whatsoever to our discussion.

Another problem seems to be human naivety; that is: the unrealistic assumption that if an organization claims to be God’s people then they must be perfect or nearly so.
ah, the famous fallback for all jws when presented with obvious contradictions within the religion; when presented with fallicies in prophesy; when presented with doctrine changes, etc.........the fallback is ALWAYS that no human is perfect, and no human organization is perfect, so even if they are gods people, they will not or cannot be perfect. this argument is so paper thin its sickening.
no one is saying "if this is gods organization, it should be PERFECT". i havent heard one "apostate" or non-believer say anything even remotely close to this. yk, you continue to show your foolishness.
what we will ask is this: if gods holy spirit works directly through the fds, and the teachings/writings of the wtbts are "inspired" in this way, why would god ever have the need to supply his one true outlet/organization with completely FALSE information, and give them completely OPPPOSITE insight on SPECIFIC doctrinal roots from one decade to the next? if it truly is gods organization, and he truly leads his people through this organization, he would not directly lie to them through it. doesnt the bible say somewhere that "god cannot lie"? so why would he supply his fds with false prophesy, time and time again?

I have made it my aim over the last 10 years or so to find reliable sources of alternative views.

what you really do yk, is make it a point to find the very few people on this earth whos views actually back up your absurd ravings.

Bin Laden Innocent?

there are some people on this forum who continue to express the belief that bin laden has not had a fair trial up to this point, and these same people have insinuated that perhaps the u.s. doesnt have enough proof against him and his network to take forceful military action.
