*Summer*...they are good at getting some things so close to the "truth" it is mind boggleing....and they do have some things right. However the best LIE is one that resembles the truth. It is easy to be confused.....Why do you think there are so many JW's and X-JW's?

I think it is amazing that you've recognized the issues (instead of ignoring them as you were trained to do) and then you are taking the steps to make it right. The steps you are making will make your life better and you will be able to put the past hurts behind you. I really admire you (also).

While grocery shopping with Megan (age 1 1/2) I found out she has been paying attention to things I try to teach her. When I grabbed the eggs I said "Egggggs" to her as I put them in the cart....She replied with "Beeeeeee"....like we were saying the alphabet! Toooo cute!

Re: Possible Generation Change........Would Postcards Do Anything?

'they are going to change the 1914 generation again!
'would you believe it, another change in the 1914 generation coming up'.

My meeting with the elders.. I TOTALLY WIMPED OUT
by AWAKE&WATCHING ini agreed to speak to 2 elders from the congregation that i was in from when i started my bible study in 1979 to when i disassociated myself in 1990. i was in the same congregation when i got re-instated in 2001 until i got married and moved to another congregation (30 miles away) a year later.
when i left my husband in aug. of this year i had already quit going to meetings for about 4 months.
i moved back to the same town i lived in before, of course never going to the hall.. i talked to them because i wanted closure for myself and my best friend and also my husband, both of them thought if i would just have the meeting with the elders that i would be re-adjusted.

fader's wife expresses 1st doubts....
by sweet pea intalking to a friend (ex-elder) today whose wife was (is) a close friend of mine .
she's still a jdub but won't talk to me now i'm df'd (apparently it hit her very hard when we left) and so she busied herself with ministry and meetings in search of comfort and affirmation of her faith.
this didn't work for her and she came out with an unexpected question... .
