  that every guy just wants you for sex??.

  thats there no decent guys out there coz they 'only exist in the truth'.

  only ask coz thought i'd found the one, and (partly coz of my irractic behavior) we have finished) tho i dont think he was the one anyway i drove everywhere paid for most things, he lives at home etc..... so why do i feel so upset?

  I am late in answering....sorry. It took me 7 years after my divorce....and leaving the religion to find my husband. But, I think the key is more about how many wrong ones I dated to get to the right one. I had 3 fairly serious relationships that taught me more of what I didn't want, than what I did. At first I thought I could put up with just about anything. Boy was I wrong!

  I read that it takes about an average of 5 serious relationships for most wemon to experience before getting the right one. That seems pretty true from what I have seen. It is so different than what we grew up thinking....you marry the first guuy you date.

  anyone out there that knows how to cure a head cold fast?

  headache, chest cold, fever, cough....i sound so hot right now....lol.

  all i am doing is drinking green tea, with a blanket wrapped around me.

  There is some really great stuff called Emergen-C. You can get it in the "colds" section at Wal-mart, health food stores, or Pharmacy's. You add it to water and it just gives a good dose of vitamins. It seems to help a-lot. Me and hubby have not been sick in 2 years!

  We are here for Adoption!

  i was taking to grace (mouthy) on the phone today in canada.....what a sweetheart she truly is.. we have decided to put ourselfs out for adoption.

  since i have lost family members because of being a jehovah's witness for 52 years and since many here have lost wifes, husbands, children, sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers, and of course friends.. we have decided to put ourselfs out for adoption...............grace told me today she would be happy to be your grandmother to all that would like to have a grandmother..........i would love to be a father to anyone who would like to have a father.........that no longer has one.. we have this to offer to all...........the most important thing a parent, grand parent or friend can offer their child, grandchild or friend........and that is, unconditional love to all.......you are all perfect.the love that real family members may have is conditional.......but true love never is.

  we are here for you all.............and anyone else here on this board that would like to be a grandparent parent, father,mother, sister, brother or friend ............. please let all here know now.. as the italians say "familia"...........we are family!........we are here for adoption.

  Please sign me up for a mom, and grandma to my girls. I would love to have x-tra grandparents for the baby too, so thanks DAD!! I posted a video of Megan on the thread about people giving up their kids and grandkids. I will take the first person to PM me....and WALLA.....I have a mommy again!!

  You know, the thing that IS NOT funny about this is I have embarrased myself a couple times with crying and asking friends moms to adopt me. The hole in my heart is HUGE....and it is time to have it filled.

  When JW parents shun their df'd children...and grandchildren

  this seems the epitome of "lacking natural affection".

  can you imagine being a parent and not being interested in how your own children are doing?

  and what about carrying it even further, having nothing to do with your grandchildren, just because the parents are disfellowshipped?

  I am in that situation too. When I look at my baby, I just can't imagine ever wanting nothing to do with her, and find it hard to believe that is the way my mom wants it. Very sad.http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=FamousMeg By the way....here is a video of my baby and what she is missing.

  I was soooo there myself when I left. Then I started to think ALL people have a good heart and I would overlook men with issues, like the ones you stated above. (Living with parents, not paying for dates.......I even dated down right scum bags, cause I thought I could help them) There are good men out there. I found mine 3 years ago.....and I was ready to give up by that time. Make sure your standards are high enough to meet someone you deserve!!   I would like to be an animal cop...Like on the shows. Rescue animals and help people who love their animals get care for them if they are poor.

  Good post!

  I just want to add my question....Since I am pretty sure I am going to be killed in the big "A"......should I wait till it starts to kill all my loved ones(especially my innocent little baby), or should I do it now to ensure I don't miss the "time limit"....when the doors are closed..?

  (This is meant to be a "joke" but, it really isn't funny now that I actually put it in writing.....makes me sick to think some people actually are so wrapped up in their false teachings that doing that makes sense to them.)

  jehovah's witnesses talk a big game but in reality they are filled with hot air.

  they say a lot of things but don't always back it up.

  for example, jws are told that meeting attendance is of paramount importance but the truth is anytime a meeting might be called off due to inclement weather, jws would anxiously wait by the phone from their elders saying the meetings were being canceled.. jws tell everyone that their preaching work is a "life-saving" work but the truth is they don't utilize the most effective modern ways of getting this "life-saving" message out.

  I have been DA'd for 8 years....and have not recieved any "calls from elders"in all that time. If the big "A" was coming andI was going to be killed....wouldn't they show SOME interest??

  this mornings events have got me thinking about things.

  i love peanut butter, not the sweet kind but i like the old fashioned peanut butter, usually laura scudder's with no sugar or preservatives - it just tastes better imo.

  i put it on everything including pancakes which are really good with peanut butter and maple syrup.

  I like this peanut sauce on everything:

  Equal parts PB and water....slowly bring to slow boil

  Add garlic salt...lemon juice....soy sauce....a bit of sugar (to taste) Wisk it in and turn down heat to low. When blended it is done and you can add more water is you want it smoother.

  This is really good on chicken and lettuce wraps.......MMMMMMMMM!

  Were you a loud singer?

  i don't know why, but i was just thinking of this guy in my hall that sang so loud that it was embarassing to just be there.

  he sounded like the love child of kermit the frog and miss piggy.

  i remember trying to mimick his voice during one song and getting counseled by one of the bros because i had a few of younger guys laughing.

  I wasn't....but my former sister in law was VERY LOUD! She sang it like she was the star in an opera! All of the "older ones" in the hall would complement her, so she was real proud. It made me laugh on many occasions, because she thought she was the shiznit.
