Just got back from memorial service

my friend who died monday was burried this morning.

he loved his scottish background.

he was burried in his kilt and had the music played on a bagpipe.

i posted this at the end of worldlygirl's question, but i think it got bared into so many posts...

hi there, i am pretty much in the same situation here as the worldly girl(minus the children).

my boyfriend is an ex jw his ex wife cheated on him they divorced.

I guess my advise for what it's worth would be to show him all that you've learned and this site if he will look at it. Then let him deciede what he wants to do. If he still wants to be a part of that religion....you will have to deciede for yourself if you want to live like that. I know I couldn't do it.

Would the blood ban be lifted if more men were dying of blood loss?

the watchtower did not wait too long to make factor viii a conscience matter for haemophiliac men.

i believe it happened inthe late 1970's but i'm sure someone would correct me if i am wrong on the date.. but, the blanket blood ban continues and women are still dying in childbirth unncecessarily around the world because they are jws.

if the boot were on the other foot, would blood transfusion be a conscience matter by now to keep jw men safe?.

I think there is some truth to that. It seems that wemon and children are more prone to needing blood during their lifetime. SICK SICK SICK

a couple of nights ago my roomie gave me a dvd to play.

she said it was from her sisters.

well i jump up and put in the dvd thinking it was from her physical sisters (they are all hotties).

i am due my baby in 2 days time (friday 9th nov).. i have no idea what its going to be, and i dont have any inklings, so the field is wide open.

heres some detail to help you, and remember no babies will be hurt in the making of these bets!

last baby was a girl 10 years ago, but i had a really strong feeling it was going to be a girl.

this picture below is taken from the revelation book, i've checked the book itself and the image i found on the internet is accurate.

so is this image actually showing what appears to be a demon hand thingy?.

just wondering...i showed mum and she was pretty freaked by it but then said 'its down to the mist, it makes it look like that' lol, i love dubs .

Actually, I think the art department has the best interests of the flock in mind. Especially the kids. That was the only way I was able to sit through the studies...by looking at the pictures and finding scary faces, ect. It is weird though that I never thought it was intentional when I saw them.....I just thought I had a good imagination. However, the affect the pictures had on me was just a little more fear of the end. Maybe that is their point....reminders of the "wicked world" we currently live in.

Welcome to the boards...nice to know you a little! I am sorry about your childhood. At least they "neglected" to beat you. I cannot imagine why in the world they beat your sister starting at 6 MO'S! That is really crappy. It makes me sad. Anyways, glad you are out of that life! Looking forward to knowing you more :)
