OH MY GOD!!!! THEY DID IT!!!

I've been saying for a long time that Watchtower behavior is going to endanger their tax status. So that's how the government is doing it now.

Rather than take away their tax exempt status, which could only be done by an incredible amount of litigation, as happened with another religon, the government just won't let religons HAVE any land.

HOW BRILLIANT HOW DELICIOUSLY BRILLIANT!!!! WHY DIDN'T WE THINK OF THAT!!!

NIMBY...let homeowners know that if a Kingdom Hall goes up on that neighboring peice of property, just how much tax money is going to be lost compared to, say, a home or business. LET homeowners know that because your neighbor JW conducts that annoying bookstudy in his home (with all the Tuesday night parking ruckus) that he can claim tax break on his property, and there's ANOTHER loss of income for the community.

It wouldn't be so bad if that's all it was, HOWEVER...if there's a fire in that KH, Watchtower gonna call the Fire Department it doesn't want to pay for. If there's an apostate sitting in the Hall, refusing to leave, Watchtoer gonna call the police department it doesn't want to pay for.

In Watchtower's defense, tho, they still have to pay taxes on their utilities, and they have still have to pay taxes on construction materials, and anything else they buy that isn't edible---or donated.

at 4:45 p.m. today barbara anderson was contacted by the chairman of her previous judicial committee from last week.

barb was asked to meet with a new judicial hearing to face new charges which are adjusted as follows:.

I guess the elders of Sister Anderson's Judicial Committee are about to undergo a 'crisis of conscience' of their own?

Will they bend to the Watchtower or act on their own conscience?

Will they do what they KNOW to be the right thing, as many elders and formers elders on this board have done?

They have to know, that if they act against Barbara, and they are sued, it will be the elders not the Watchtower who will pay. Watchtower will leave them hanging, and everybody knows it. Watchtower will only send lawyers in if you promise to die for them (ask the little girl in Canada).

May I ask why you are scattering these postings ove several threads?

And can you give them some logical searchable name?

They are very good, but how is anybody supposed to find these things doing a search? Simon's getting 20, 30, 40 new registered users per day sometimes, and I think they should see your stuff, but how can they when you do it this way?

Put in 'rape' in the search engine and see what pops up. It would be nice if your stuff popped up as well.

he sent me some printouts from the national library of medicine about twin-to-twin-transfusion syndrome.

i brought this topic up in the past with my wife and him, months ago.

That said Dave; I believe the large and what I consider most significant point that you apparently fail to see from your research thus far is that AT ONE TIME THESE TWINS ALSO SHARED THE SAME BLOOD SUPPLY. AT ONE TIME THEIR BLOOD, WHOLE BLOOD AND NOT JUST FRACTIONS WERE COMINGELED IN THE NATURAL SETTING OF THEIR MOTHER’S WOMB.

You're okay untill you get to this point; then your tone can come across as being argumentative and quarrelsome, "amking a point" instead of sharing information.

In fact, if you eliminate from the point of "The facts i sDave: on, I think the letter would be much better. It's a fabulous presentation, and you don't need to 'get your point' across, I think it does it for you.

If you MUST add something more, switch to a JW mode and make sure the letter ends that way.

it seems like everyday we're seeing new names here on the board.

there are so many posts it's hard ot keep up, and keeping the posters seperated is just impossible.. i forget sometimes that people are leaving the wts everyday, and certainly a bunch of them end up here.

but, is there any data showing the number of new posters?.

someone put up a post not tooo long ago, about Simon reaching 3000 registered users. Maybe someone can remember who that was and bring it back, I'd love to know when that was.

I think it was even this year.

I think there were 2000 registered users when I joined the board a year ago.

I wonder if Simon keeps those stats around.
