are their any newer people here, who recently found out ttatt, who has been disturbed by all the new changes in the organization?
it is turning into something that feels impersonal.

A lot will question but find it too hard to give up their little bubble, others realise there's a big world out here that isn't as bad as they've been told and burst through.
That's what happened to me and at a young age. My grandparents, parents, cousins, brothers and sister couldn't give up the bubble. Most young kids in my day were hiding magazines of Playboy and Penthouse I was hiding Scientific American mags from my parents.
I have had a great life but I do miss my family
i was sitting next to a sister this evening who during the whole ride she had one of those plastic folders that holds the mags and pamphlets, she had both spanish and english and was holding the folder out in front of her until she got off the train.
i asked her if she was counting her time, she said yes (of course she asked how do i know about that).
she said it's not easy talking to the people in the station (seemed like she meant standing with the trolley or just the mags) because sometimes people say things that aren't nice, so she counts her time on her daily commute.

remember JWs talking about crime, the alleged energy shortage, pollution, war, earthquakes, bad morals, etc. and saying there was no way this system could last longer than a few more years. I remember one brother who was a teacher with a master's degree in education. He went back to school to get a doctorate in education. JWs gossiped about him saying the that end was so near he probably wouldn't finish his schooling. He finished, got a good job, and has been retired for probably at least ten years

They left and cleaned a park nearby. It was written up in the Toronto news papers and many dubs remarked ,was that not a great witness. I kid you not! All they did was pick up a few pieces of paper and some cigarette butts because they were bored.

I remember going to a "special talk" in Toronto in 1974 being given by on of the GBs I can't remember which one, For one whole hour this lunatic talked about how 1975 was going to be it.
I also remember it was at maple leaf gardens which at the time had limited seating capacity and many couldn't get in, they left and cleaned a park. LOL
The speaker said don't be like those on the outside who couldn't get in.
