Did judge Rutherford piss off Hitler
by greenhornet inthe jws at the time in germany where considered part of the aryan race, (since they were not jews).
then things changed for the jws after rutherford mailed a letter to hitler bragging about jehovahs kingdom on earth.. so can we add this to the bloodshed that that the watchtower corp is responsible for?.

How many years will pass before the world recognizes we were right?
by John Aquila inits inevitable that at some point in time, people will look back and see that the exjw community was right about the watchtower organization and the bible..
i have some friends who are catholic, protestant, and some who dont associate with any religion but believe jesus will come in their lifetime.
we are such a small minority compared to christians that we are viewed as ignorant when it comes to religious matters.

My question is how long before a significant number of JWs realize we were right.
I like that question better. I suspect that there are already significant number of witnesses who know we are right. Fear of losing loved ones, fear of Armageddon if they choose wrong. Some who like the life style like Brother Jeramy and a few die hards make the prospect of leaving intolerable.

It's best to leave it alone until you are parked. Also if you have a car behind you at fast speeds it could cause an accident.
I agree there are a lot of things to be worked out. If the car behind you could could communicate with your car there would be no danger. Where the real challenges lay in this technology is in law. Who do you sue if an accident is deemed caused by faulty software. What if the company that created the software no longer exists. Then send in the insurance companies for a feeding frenzy and the list goes on.

What if a large plastic bag is blowing in the wind in front of you and activates that feature?
Well I guess you would brake and the bag would blow by.

Happy Memorial Day
by Perry injust wishing a happy memorial day to everyone!
we had some friends over, barbecued and let the kids run around slap crazy playing cops and robbers and hide and go seek.
we have so many freedoms that those under tyranny do not have.

10th Anniversary
by geevee injust popped in to say hi and let you know that my wife and i have been "out" for 10 years!!!
wow a whole decade without going to a meeting or out door to door.. no bolts of lightening, only a couple of visits in all that time by some petrified elders and a couple of newbie locals knocking on our door in all that time!.
how wonderful!

Congratulations geevee
I left in the mid eighties. I grew up in the truth.
It's true fleshyheadedmutant the teachings become a distant memory but the memories encountered while in the grasp of "The evil empire" will remain forever.

Consider the evolution of the royal scientific societies in the UK. They gave us real advances in knowledge of our surroundings. Look at the ancient Greeks. Look at newton ,Ptolemy. Copernicus , Neils Bohr, Einstien and thousands of others. And still we have the WTBTS, flat earth society, muslim crazies, Catholic Church various eastern religions.
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for wide spread recognition.

How much sediment would have been moved in Noah's flood?
by Zoos ini flew over this crate yesterday on my return home from las vegas.. .
they say this crater was created by an asteroid about 50,000 years ago.
then about 6000 years ago, presumably, god wiped out all life on earth with a global flood.. how much sediment would have been moved around during that flood.
