  formula: 2 times publisher time since 1914 plus 1914 equals A. bang.

  I think prologos is off a bit in his calculation. Since there was no year zero we have to subtract 1 from 1914=1913

  why not subtract zero? Because zero plus one = 1

  1913 is the 293 prime number and the 125 th prime between 1001 and 2000.

  All prophesies are prime so wouldn't it be appropriate for the prime fulfillment of Jehovah's prophesy to come to pass after 2000 but not before 125 years have passed thus indicating we are indeed very well along in the last days and conclusion of this system of things. So simple its almost stupid!

  In next week's study we will examine what a week and a year really indicate in terms of prime fulfillment of prophesy.

  many seek happiness externally and many a time assign others the possession of their happiness.

  when they derive a sort of happiness from external sources, they dont feel satisfied, hence jump to the next and then to the next .... in contrast, jesus said gods kingdom (or real happiness) is within (entos) you.

  this cannot be misinterpreted as jesus being the king of the kingdom was amidst them as jws do.

  the video in that thread is no longer online.. the following article highlights the relgious tourism that the jehovah's witnesses have brought to africa.. african govts must prioritise tourism for economic growth: mzembi.

  african governments must prioritise tourism development to stimulate economic growth and development on the continent, tourism minister walter mzembi has said.mzembi, who is also united nations world tourism organisation (unwto) chairman of the commission for africa, said tourism had long-term intangible benefits that came with enhancing destinations amid reports that zimbabwes projected 5,1% tourism growth for 2015/16 was ahead of all other economic sectors.. he advocated for the scaling up of religious tourism, telling the audience that jehovahs witnesses who thronged zimbabwe for their first international convention in the country had set a fine example which should be followed by all church organisations.. jehovahs witnesses held their international convention in harare.

  My wife's uncle moved from Italy to South Africa right after WW2 . He managed to send us a case of Landskroon wine. It came into Canada through the South African Embassy in Ottawa. The best wine I've tasted in a long time. Her uncle said it was so plentiful in South Africa that they boiled their spaghetti in it. Sadly he's dead now and his trophy wife is spending his fortune all over the world.

  The strangest thing was after we heard of his death we got a cheque in the mail from a Numbered South African Company in London England for 60,000 Pounds. On a lark I took it to the HSBC Bank locally and they said for a small fee they would certify and cash it. That made me nervous so I turned it over to the local RCMP and we never heard anything about it any more. I always suspected there was a connection between him and that cheque. I kind of regret it now I could have walked out of the bank with 60K Pounds Cash.

  It is now literally possible to explain the potential length of the “overlapping generation” with a formula like the following one where X′ and X″ represent two different (overlapping) groups of anointed persons.

  Generation (X′+X″) <= 1914+λ[A′]-α[A′]+λ[A″]-α[A″]-x

  This formula is applicable where A′ and A″ are symbols referring to anointed persons qualified to be in group one and two, respectively. λ[A′] (lambda of A′) refers to the lifespan of the person in the first group, and α[A′] (alpha of A′) refers to the age at which A′ is said to have been anointed. A person qualifying for inclusion in the second group (A″), must not only be born, but must already be anointed, in or before the year A′ dies. We must also consider the following two limiting factors: First, the maximum length of a lifespan (λ) usually put in a range from 99 to 119 years. Second, the minimum age at which one may be considered to be anointed (α), put in a range from 10 to 20 years. And, finally, we must subtract x, the number of full years that the lifespan of A′ overlapped with A″. If A″ happened to be born in the same year that A′ died, then this x=0.

  You’ll get your due in 2072!
  

  If we plug in the information for FWF (Frederick W Franz) as a case that fits the first group of anointed, we would get:

  Generation (X′+X″) <= 1914+99-20+λ[A″]-α[A″]

  We would now only need to assume a lifespan and an age of anointing for a person who qualifies to be in the second group. If we also assume that A″ also has a lifespan of 99 years and also has an anointing age of 20, and was born in 1992, then the formula could be filled in as follows:

  Generation (X′+X″) <= 1914+99-20+99-20 = 2072. Therefore, the overlapping generation could reach as far into the future as 2072.

  I don't understand why people don't get this it's so simple.LOL

  If there is any truth at all to this allegation, does anyone believe the governing body are the real ones in charge of this organization? Someone somewhere is a real financial genius if they can actually get the money out free and clear. It sure as hell aint those governing body idiots. While we chirp on about the meaning of an overlapping generation this kind of money just walks out the door?? Amazing!

  i'm getting tired of the fact that hollywood (and in this case the action/hero genre) rarely seems to have an original thought.

  has anybody noticed the same theme?.

  so i had a discussion with my mother about this, and she claims that because of this that: "we are surely living in the last days right now" while i must admit myself that the situation seem chaotic, i don't want to believe that it is the last days.

  I have read in a couple of articles about this European mess that Germany is regarded as the "Isreal" of Europe among the migrants/refugees. It just seems funny to me that people who are fleeing the religious extremism of ISIS and Arab Nations with a strong history of anti Jewish sentiment would regard Germany in this way. Germany is a country with a big history of extremism when it comes to anything anti Jewish hence the very existence of Israel.

  I can hardly wait for Caleb from Florida to return and give us his thoughts.
