  I Hate the Sound of the Word Jehovah

  listening to clips of the latest manipulative video from the watchtower i realised how much i detest that word - jehovah.. sometimes i have thought it would be interesting to observe a meeting or part of a convention.

  every time i heard that word i would be unable to stay in my seat.. i have a visceral reaction every time i hear it.

  it stands for so much that i have contempt for.

  Antimatter not so different after all ... poor old Freddy wrong again,another light dims in the JW heavens.

  back in the years after ww2, newly discovered antimatter was perceived as destroying ordinary matter, so in one of old freddy's insane nightmares (forget which book, but it was the early 1950's) he envisioned yhwh-jesus hurling antimatter at the hated humans who refused to submit to him, and destroying their bodies bit by bit.. now, his vision dims:.

  scientists help make first measurement of antiproton attraction.

  i am inclined to start this thread in response to some comments made in other threads.

  i have been coming around these forum for quite some time now so whatever you find in here is not just related to something someone may have said this week.

  it can go months back as well.. i have seen many who claim to respect the belief of others but when it comes down to applying it into practice, things take a whole different tune.

  so, when people post about being shunned by their friends, i've heard several posters say things like, "their friendship is conditional.

  real friendships aren't conditional.".

  i'm sorry, but that just isn't really true.. if you and i were friends, there are conditions.

  A true friend is someone who catches you when you fall. Turns his back on you when your'e wrong and leads you to greater understanding. Doesn't demand respect but earns it!!

  world news daily has a die-hard right-wing bias.

  so, in an effort to get real information, i'm asking my european exjw's, is this article all true?

  it is hard to define as the whole world is fall of different cultures in which success is viewed differently.

  but i think there is something impalatable and unpleasant with how many view success.. what is success to you?.
