  opinion filed.. (signed published) the judgment against defendants on the negligence count is affirmed.

  the judgment against watchtower on the cause of action for punitive damages is reversed with directions to enter judgment for watchtower on punitive damages.

  Besides, the whole thing has gone viral and is now part of a published court decision.

  Good for her I hope she enjoys her portion of the 7 mil.I think in this case she was not totally motivated by money. Again enjoy Candice!

  Being in a cult - what good did it do?

  so, here's a bit of a different point of view.

  while most of us will agree that our time within the jw cult was rather terrible, however, i'd like to look at another aspect.

  did anything good come out of being in a cult and then waking up from it?.

  The best thing about being a member of this cult was leaving and not being a member anymore. I wouldn't wish this cult on my worst enemy. In the imortal words of MLK junior, "Free at last, free at last, thank god almighty I am free at last!"

  Paranormal activity in a room at Ohio University

  why this room (no 428), located at ohio university, is unavailable to students?.

  it has been boarded up and closed off because of various paranormal reports regarding the room.

  poltergeist activity has been felt: objects flying across the room, doors that open and shut by themselves, and dark shadows appearing and disappearing without explanation.

  For me when I hear of paranormal activity, I think to myself wouldn't it be nice to harness that energy? You know things flying around the room, put them on some kind of a generator and produce electricity from it.

  Being raised in this cult and figuring my way out of it gave me an appreciation for my resourcefullness and also an appreciation of the stupidity of others. I feel so sorry for those trapped in because of familly and who know TTATT. They are far braver than myself , sitting in meetings and listening to the endless drival from the platform and going in field circus.

  My first "disagreement" with standard JW thinking

  about two years after i was baptized, i had this incident.

  i looked at it as an isolated incident at the time, but now realize it would have had basically the same result with 99.99% of any jws not members here.. i will keep it short.

  i was talking with a person who was raised in the religion.

  Terry the witnesses are not logical people. The same elders that whole heartedly believe things like the overlapping generation nonsense would recoil with a look of curious astonisment if you told them that , there is just a slight chance that the theory of evolution makes some sense to me.
