  steven hassen is a well known name for many, if you do not know him google can help.

  this information is certainly not new, but as almost every exjw has deep affection and concern for active jws it is certainly my wish and i hope the wish of other exjws that any active jw considers this information.

  this information cannot be deemed as apostate, it is just stating the opinion of someone who has spent much of his adult life in helping people to realize what a cult is.

  Of course their a cult. They meet every definition of a cult.I am just glad that after being raised in this cult I managed to reason my way out of it and at a young age.

  It must have been hard for Adam to calculate the years at the time. Remember the Earth was surrounded by water vapor that didn't fall until Noah's day. How would you know there are 365 days in a year or even what time of day it is if the sun and stars were blocked out by water?

  does this mean possible a creator did or does exist.

  there is plenty of evidence of a slow evolutionary changes over millions of years and i do not disagree with this.

  but again that fact that mankind can not create a living creature from scratch mean there must be a creator?

  Man couldn't fly a few years ago. We put men on the moon a few years after mastering flight. We've discovered dna and it's implications. We've discovered how to harness the atom. New medicines and vaccines just give us time.

  So far, no one here has been able to define what god is or spirit, so I've no expectation they could possibly begin to explain a kingdom.

  I agree Viviane, Perhaps god's kingdom as envisioned by animals like us is some kind of an inherited survival mechanism to deal with the cruel world we live in.

  why did man go from living 900 years to 90?

  i cant recall the scripture, where it says than only a few men will he live to be 80 years or so, can anyone recall that?.

  so then im wondering, if it is a fact that men lived long years 900 in some cases, for what reason would god limit our lifespan if our time is so short compared to his?.

  how on earth does man go from living 8 and 9 hundred years down to 80 to 100 ?.

  They decided to ban him from giving public prayers and provide answers during meetings. But, they have disfellowshipped another guy from the congregation. One of the kindest people I know. Anyway, he's quite in a good mood and not mad at my mother at all.

  He is not mad at you or your Mother right now. This doesn't mean it's over. Anyone that goes after a stray dog, that just wanted a meal, with a base ball bat is mentally disturbed. I am glad though that you have peace in your house tonight,
