even with the new rebranding/softening of this religion, i still don't see how people can believe in him.
the god of the old testimate is an angry murderer who approved rapes and slavery and killed thousands of men, women and children.

What is your purpose or what do you wish to accomplish while a member of this board?
by Tenacious inwhen i joined this forum i was seeking more people who felt the same way i did in terms of seeing the jehovah's witness organization for what it truly was; a false prophet.. once i found like-minded members i slowly started to open up and participate more in trying to help others that were also exiting mentally and physically.
today, i offer support to anyone who desires it regardless of what they believe or not believe.. so what is your purpose on this board?.

I have been out of the Borg for so long that it's mostly just a distant memory for me. It is fun to relive experiences that I have in common with so many on here and I learn a great deal from this site. For instance, had it not been for this site I never would have known about the new light on the overlapping generations nonsense. If I didn't still have family trapped in I would probably never have found this site and wouldn't find visiting so compelling. It really was fluke finding it for me! -

My condolences Perry. The same thing happened to me with my Father so I know what it feels like. It's a sick twisted cult and your Mother's son didn't deserve to be treated that way. Stay on the sunny side of life ultimately that's all we can do. -

Why limit this to new dissociate's why not a letter of reaffirmation of disassociation or disfellowshipping saying thanks I'll never be back. It's a long time to 8/8/16 so lots of time to throw out ideas. -

I went down in the first Round!
by John Aquila inthere is a visitor brother in town and from what ive been told, he has been a missionary for many years and they were having a get together for him.
i took my mom to that get-together yesterday and stayed for a few minutes.
i heard a group around a table with the visitor brother talking about how hard it was getting in the world with so many distractions and that many of the brothers were falling into the trap and leaving jehovahs organization.

when one ponders the grandeur of the universe, things like dark matter, string theory and still undiscovered scientific realities of things right here on earth. I remain an agnostic. If there is a god he/she/it certainly isn't represented by the man made religion. -

by betterdaze inlocal father offended by jehovah's witness letter, claims its writer is targeting obituariesjacksonville, fla. a local father who wishes to remain anonymous sent action news jax a copy of a letter sent to his family's church.. the letter read in part: "sorry about your loss.
i read about it from the obituary.
jehovahs witness literature was attached to the letter.. in a time when a family is grieving they need to be surrounded by family and friends.

That crazy old loon counting time no doubt as she sends out similar letters to other area grieving families. Why can't they stick her on a trolly somewhere? What a chance at witnessing the Witnesses gave up by not responding to the press!
