On respect for the belief of others. Sorry for the long post
by StarTrekAngel ini am inclined to start this thread in response to some comments made in other threads.
i have been coming around these forum for quite some time now so whatever you find in here is not just related to something someone may have said this week.
it can go months back as well.. i have seen many who claim to respect the belief of others but when it comes down to applying it into practice, things take a whole different tune.

If I were God I would have a lot of questions to ask. There is no such thing as a stupid question! -

911 was big for sure. I remember exactly where I was when that happened. Our prodigious broadcaster of the CBC didn't even broadcast the event on the airways. -

I can't even imagine what you have through Kaik in your part of the world. I think as former JWs we've all been through hell! -

I don't see it that way about Viviane She is the type of person who questions everything we are all better off by her being here. -

The Irony of JW's on Halloween
by Simon inisn't it ironic - the one day of the year you can pretty much guarantee that most people are not only home but anticipating people people calling at their door ... and jehovah's witnesses don't go out that day.. heck, if the householder isn't receptive they even have the get-out option of claiming it was a joke and they dressed up as jehovah's witnesses for halloween!
:d. of course we know the aim of the ministry for most is to avoid talking to people.
that's why they do it during the day midweek or on sat morning or sun afternoon when people are most likely out..

I just had the welfare visit from a couple of young single mothers looking for Halloween candy. I look on the brighter side and the kids look smart.
