Thank you Confession for writing it so well, it held me captivated....I could not stop reading it. I look forward to reading it again....and to reading more of your stories on here!
Your story does give us an idea as to why you chose your name, it is very fitting.
you brought out may points that I too thought about for many years, but did not have the courage to dig deeper until now. I Hope you can publish your story so that many others can read it.

Your Opinion Wanted-What should really be done to child molesters?

i have not tried to hide my past as a victim of this, but this is always an area that i have to fight my personally feelings as to what should be done to child molesters.

they ruin lives, scar an individual for a lifetime!.

should they be incarcerated for life, castrated, turned over to the family member(s), public humiliation like a branding everywhere they go, tortured and or death penality?.

My heart is very touched by all of your experiences....
that said, i agree with frannie, I think there are some who can be reabilitated, and many who cannot, the island is the most humane and the most practical idea, but expensive.....

If I ever found out that any of my boys have been molested, and this is just me, but I would probably kill or at least seriously injure that person with my bare hands.

I think you may have confused some facts with regard to Jehovah's Witnesses and the Watchtower Society. The two dates that the Watchtower has set for Christ return were 1874 and 1914. The other dates mentioned involved predictions of "the end" or Armageddon

Jesus' returnJehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus already came in ~~1914 1918 1946~~ Jesus is coming soon noone knows when Jesus is coming. It is felt that his return is based on finding a way to make the Watchtower publication profitable. To date, this has not been accomplished.

Teachings

When reminded that he didn't include a zero year on his calculation, (If correct, would have predicted something really big happening in 1915) Russell quickly chopped off the arm of the dissender, drained their blood, threw the poor soul in the hospital, and informed the doctor that the dissender is a Jehovah's Witness and not to replace their blood; a practice that's done to dissenders to this day. The practice, originally known as "dis-membershipping" is now known today as "disfellowshipping".
You are allowed to have your arm re-inserted after a punitive period that lasts for at least 6 months. That practice, known as "re-insertion" is now known as "re-instation".
