some were robots, some were black and white thinkers, some were just jerks,

but some were sincere and caring....and I will miss those people.

Minimus, I'd wager that those boobs are probably not bought...they are naturally beautiful....

I bet many of the moms here that breastfed could relate to having those generous milk-filled breasts....they are amazing....

*sigh* I miss my boobs

why is breastfeeding offensive to you? Why are women's breasts offensive to you for that matter? Why don't you want to see them? Why do you say breastfeeding is dirty? I just don't get it.

It's NOT dirty OR shameful.

Its a breast with a baby suckling on it.

Women have been breastfeeding for eons. They didnt worry about covering up either!

I think when you find out the root cause of your issue with breastfeeding, you might be surprised at the reason why.

If one finds it nauseating to see someone feeding their baby, why is it that the mother should inconvience herself and her baby by suffocating her baby with a sweater?

People do have the ability to look away. If it bothers you, DONT LOOK. simple as that.

Telling mothers what to do with their babies when it comes to a very loving and very normal practice is nauseating.

What do we really know about Jehovah?

i started making a list of what we really know about jehovah from the bible.

see if you can add to the list.. 1. likes to take afternoon walks, especially when it's breezy.. 2. likes the smell of roasting animals.. 3. likes dancing and singing but doesn't necessarily dance and sing himself.. 4. can write a little bit, though only with one finger.

usually gets humans to write for him instead.. 5. seems to like cheap magic tricks, like talking donkeys and magic burning bushes.. 6. always resorts to violence to solve problems instead of dialogue or diplomacy.. 7. he can reproduce asexually.. 8. he likes to be called father and he has sons, but his "wife" is a group of sexless spirits, who are also his sons.. any more??.

i'll share a dream i just awoke from about an hour ago:.

i was driving in a van, and there was this man undercover in the van who was on a mission of somesort.... they were following a van driving beside us, and there was a man in that van drawing on the window with a large crayon, he was drawing a detailed and realistic mural of rainbows, flowers and butterflies...they were following this man for some reason.

ok, i guess my mind went in a weird direction after this... (the roads we are driving are completely new to me and unfamiliar) we pull up to the kindom hall and my assignment was to do recon on the the co, as he was reportedly doing some weird things.... so i get there intime for the meeting, i am dressed as a sister, i blend in, and am greeted as a visitor.

So I get there intime for the meeting, I am dressed as a sister, I blend in, and am greeted as a visitor. The meeting is about to start, I dont remember singing K songs, or a prayer, or anything normally done at the meeting. It is also the memorial, and the bookstudy and the CO's visit rolled into one meeting....

The CO is giving a talk and is talking about obedience and compliance and being humble and meekly following, and my mom all of a sudden was there beside me, and I write on her book, ''SEE? YOU ARE BEING BRAINWASHED!'' and she looks at me all concerned and loving, and said, ''no my dear, you are the one who is being deceived''... then she gives the CO a look...

this alarms me, suddenly I am feeling very scared as if something bad is going to happen to me...The CO then gives the closing prayer, and is inches from my face...''So I hear you have some doubts, do you?'' ''Brother, I am fine'' , I reply scared...I wanted to be courageous and stand up for myself,but this brother was large and intimidating, he had blue eyes and sandy straight hair, and had a peircing stare.

He says, ''We must make an example of you....'' He motions for this dark skinned brother to come over...he's only a teenager and is a goodlooking young man, and he seems scared too, as if he is only following the orders of the CO...''Show her Jihad!'' I'm thinking, what?????

what does that mean????? He says, , ''Are you sure this is necessary?'' ''Don't ask questions! You just do as your told, son!''

Then the young man comes over to me, and looks at me, and says, ''I dont want to do this''. then he simulates a raping of me, but doesnt really touch me...but I knew worse was to come...so I complied, and just sat there, at the back of the kingdom hall, in one of those uncomfortable chairs.

Then the CO comes over, and this part is hazy, but I as he lecturing me, I see sisters drinking the wine from the memorial at their seats, and clinking glasses lol. His back was turned to them, so he didnt see it...then he tells me that he is going to put me in a vat, and drown me in it....to make me understand that the society is in charge, and no one else...and all the apostates were being rounded up and killed.

I decide to get out of there, I run, and grab my cell, which is now all broken..and run outside into the sunshine...and look for an unlocked car to take...

then just before I wake up, I am infront of a small refigerator, with a beautiful dark haired arabian girl, and I turn to her, and I said, ''I'm a muslim...who believes in Jesus'', and she says, ''I'm a muslim too who believes in Jesus''....WEIRD!!!

No I am not a muslim....I dont know why there was that theme in my dream...I dont want anyone to interpret it, just share your own dreams if you like....

compact fluorescent lamp warning.

there are probably alot of us using the small spiral shaped compact fluorescent lamps in our houses.

i did not realize they have mercury in them and can be a bit of problem if one breaks.

it is also illegal to dispose of them in our regular garbage cans.

How do I clean up a spill from a broken thermometer?

Before beginning the clean up, change into old clothes and shoes that can be thrown away if they get contaminated with mercury. NOTE: If you are wearing gold jewelry, either remove the jewelry or wear good protective gloves. If the liquid mercury contacts the gold jewelry, the mercury bonds permanently to the gold and ruins it. Wearing gloves is a good idea to prevent mercury from lodging under the fingernails while cleaning.

Increase ventilation in the room with outside air and close the room off from the rest of the house. If available, use fans for at least one hour to help ventilate the room.
Pick up the mercury with an eyedropper or scoop up beads with a piece of heavy paper (e.g., playing cards, index cards).
Wide sticky tape such as duct tape can also be used to pick up any glass particles and mercury beads.
Powdered sulfur (which can be purchased at garden supply stores) can be used to bind any remaining mercury. When the sulfur combines with mercury the sulfur turns from the usual yellow color to brown. Continue to use sulfur until there is no longer a color change. Keep in mind that sulfur can be irritating to the skin, nose, throat and eyes. Sulfur may also stain fabrics.
Place the mercury, contaminated instruments (dropper/heavy paper) and any broken glass in a plastic zipper bag. Place this zipper bag in a second zipper bag and then in a third zipper bag (triple bag), tightly sealing each bag with tape. Place the bags in a wide-mouth, sealable plastic container.
Throw away everything that may have been exposed to the mercury including towels, bedding, clothes if they were contaminated.
Call your local health department for the nearest approved mercury disposal location. If disposal at such a location is not possible, dispose of the plastic container according to state and local requirements.
If weather permits, leave windows open for approximately two days to make sure the area is completely ventilated.
Wash hands very well with soap and water afterwards. Shower well if you think any mercury touched other parts of your body.
