  Hi Fred,

  do you ever go outside? get some sunshine? feel the air on your face? or is that not allowed the elders cant be by your side 24/7 having holy spirit being poured into you....

  Because from the sound of your post, it sounds like you are on serious lockdown, and are only permitted to speak and associate with elders and your mother, and no one else.

  I picture you in your room, with your WT publications and your NWT, all alone, or with the company of the same 3 elders. Sounds like a happy life to me.

  Why do I care? Good question, guess I find it odd that someone with your obvious intelligence would choose to punish themselves for the rest of their lives in the hopes that they may find some peace of mind. You are not that little boy anymore, Fred. You do not have to keep beating yourself up. Who are You, is right. It is the JW way, not God's.

  My self-worth does not actually depend on another poster's opinion of me.

  i've been trashed and bullied by one poster for posting info off the internet that i was offering to someone in need of hope.

  i began a thread on the subject of whether it is right or wrong to offer hope to someone in desperate circumstances in order that the poster could see that theirs wasn't the only opinion of any value.

  while most who responded were in agreement with the validity of being encouraging and offering hopeful info that can be looked into or not, it's the viewer's choice, that poster has continued his bullying, stating that i'm mentally, literally incompetent, basically stupid and irresponsible, though i'm so incompetent that i shouldn't be actually held accountable for my well-meant ignorance.

  I read the incident that sparked this thread, and I know who the the person is behind the mean remarks. I will not get into name calling (altho it is tempting), but that person had NO RIGHT to tell you what you can or cannot post. You have only posted beneficial and helpful information, they happened to disagree with. Oh well, that's their problem..they should NOT of attacked you, that was completely childish and uncalled for. So many people love you here, so dont let one rude person ruin your day! That is giving them too much power.... Here's what I think: I think you're awesome!

  i'm no longer alone after 17 years; now i have someone to talk to and his experiences are alot like mine.

  to think, he refused to talk to me for over 17 years!

  Fred,

  I hope you do see the wisdom in seeking professional help.

  There are qualified therapists that are Jehovah's Witnesses, and hopefully you can find one that is an elder, since it seems as though you will only listen to the counsel of one. I doubt you would listen to a therapist if she was a woman....just a hunch on my part.

  As for what you said about love, my friend, that is truly remarkably sad....

  If I felt as you do about love, that there is no love here on earth, and that love only means being obedient to God, then I'd be just as miserable and messed as you are. I mean you no disrespect when I say that.

  I hope that you find real love and happiness, and I wish you luck on your journey.

  have some of you ever seen in the organization a minesterial servant that misses meetings for weeks at a time, hardly ever preaches.

  shows up occasionally for sunday meeting.

  when you mention his name to other servants , no one wants to talk about it.. the reason the elders and the co don't remove him is that once a year the society needs him at bethel since he is licensed in certain trades.

  sounds awfully suspicious.....what is he? an FBI / CIA agent? not really a JW at all...but pretending to be one to be able to do some recon or whatever? makes one wonder what they have to be so secretive about....

  Well, you saw how there are appatantly no road laws

  ...where she is from, guess what the driving test is?

  drive down a straight road, if you can do that without driving onto the shoulder, you pass, and get your drivers licence.

  The driver was not fined or penalized either, he did not know what to do when you hit a pedestrian...makes you wonder about some people's ability to use their brains...

  The mother in law (of one of my good friends) was back in India, where she is from, to be with her fiance.

  She was accidently run down by a motorist, and that motorist then BACKED UP and RAN HER OVER AGAIN, and then DROVE OVER HER A SECOND TIME.

  No word of a lie.

  She was in the hospital for 5 months, with multiple fractures, and internal injuries, barely clinging onto life....the hospital she was in wasnt fit to be called a hospital.

  Her son flew to India and got her into a better hospital, as she almost died in the run down shack she was in before.

  last night was my oldest daughters birthday (22), we went out for supper with some friends and family, we went into the texas roadhouse where she serves bar and waits tables, they have this one thing they do for birthdays where all the servers sing, yell and clap, they also ask you to "saddle up" which means to sit on a saddle they bring out on wheels as they all yell and howler, real fun, though!.

  well sitting behind us is a whole table of witness from my sister hall that i use to go to, mother with three grown kids (25, 22, 21) and their spouses, they watched and didn't say a word to me and wouldn't even make eye contact with me, oooh i am the bogey man.. well guess what they did after we left, they didn't know my daughter didn't leave yet.

  saddled up two of their own, clapped and sang birthday songs..
