What's your ideal scenario for the fall of the WTBTS?
by doodle-v ini've seen a few posts where someone states that they want the org to "go to hell" or "burn in hell".
the org has always had a "likely" chain of events for the armegeddon, you know, babylon the great being destroyed and by the wild beast and the the wild beast turning on the witnesses, the start of the great tribulation, armegeddon, and then the thousand year reign (or something like that).
so... what would you like to see happen to the org?

kgfreeperson, yes it is heart breaking, back in summer 2002, after being out since 1978, I thought of coming back to the "truth".
But after browsing thru the internet and reading about the UN problem, Navy Contracts and oh yes, the child abuse scandal, I was stopped in my tracks. Come back to what? Alone with Jehovah, I know where I stand. As it is with the "Botchtower" and the stuff going on, I'm better off out in the "world". IMHO....peace be with you and welcome to the JWD, where at least we can keep it REAL!...rocky220

Would you take blood now that you are not a JW and why?
by Joyzabel ini have a friend, xjw, who is having medical problems and no matter what i seem to say to her, i can tell she has not gotten over the issue of <gasp> no blood.
since the no blood stand was so ingrained in us as jws (almost like the unforgivable sin) my friend just cant seem to let go of that thinking.
i know i get too clinical at times, so i need some help with reasons why taking blood is or is not an issue for you anymore.

I too had to take 4 units, due to a large uterine fibroid caused me to bleed almost to death and hemocrit fell to 7, Dr. said I might have a heart attack, and it sure felt like it! My poor JW mom clutched her chest when she saw the bloodbag hanging, I sent her home. At least not being a JW anymore sure took off the unecessary pressure. [as well as the decision out of mom's hands].....That was in 1997, and I'm just fine, no AIDS, HEP A,B, or C...etc. [I always had rhythm though]rocky 220
