i am so bummed!
i went to the doctor yesterday and he said that i was too thin and that i need to gain 5 or 10 pounds.
i don't understand why.
Hu CBeMe, thanks for the good suggestions. I buy a size 1 but it's really too big. I prefer a 0 but they are hard to find. Do you know a store called Zena? They specialiaze in small sizes for women. I shop in there a lot. Too bad we don't live close to one another. We could exchange clothes.

i was speaking with a friend of mine (ex-jw) and his brother was just babtised in the last few years.
wht he told was sort of strange.
when he was babtised his brother was given a wedding ring type band at his babtisem, then i came to find out that another person i know had been also given one when she got dunked.

i see that ray franz is coming in for a fair bit of criticism due to his apparrant unwillingness to accept that jw's had a problem with the existence of child abuse when he was a member of the gb.
also, it would appear that ray is being chided for his belief in the rule of 2 witnesses before action can be taken against an abuser.
it seems to me that it is quite likely that ray wasn't aware that there was a serious abuse problem within the society when he was a member of the gb, if only for the reason that ray would find such an activity so detestable that he would believe it to be a virtually impossible act for anyone to perpetrate.
All I know is that I was an "elder",aka a "servant" in the 60's, and that the only time I ever came across deviant behaviour was when a obsessive father would cut his daughters hair so that she would be less appealing to him.
Englishman, you were one elder in one congregation in one country.
You and other elders did not have access to the worldwide problems in the brotherhood that members of the Governing Body did.

I am going to the gym tomorrow and will ask for a body fat analysis then. Now I'm curious. I wonder what it is.
The doctor seemed to feel that my going to the gym was contributing to my being underweight. I go just so that I won't be flabby and jiggle when I walk. Plus I now have a nice little muscles on my arms (my kids call them "bumps").

I appreciate your comments. In a civil legal matter a whole slew of people could come forward and say they saw me rob a bank and it would hold no weight without other evidentiary consideration. They might just have a vendada against me.
That is not what we are talking about here. We are talking about Watchtower society justice and that is an entirely different matter. The bottom line is that Ray Franz supports the two witness rule. Whether he is justified in doing so, or did not consider its long reaching affects is of no consequence, nor does it change that simple fact. I am not condemning the man I am trying try to sort the matter out.
You are really a good friend to Mr, Franz Amazing. I would want you on my side in a brawl, as my friend, because I know that you would come to my defense no matter what.
