Well, Donating to the Kingdom work is a beautiful thing - it enables all mankind to learn the truth. It is your duty to free yourself of blood guilt and rescue the world from Satans system. Please give all you can, work 18 hours a week as a cleaner, spend every second of the day on the ministry, evangelize constantly. It is YOUR duty to save those you love.

Well, let's look at this logically. I go to someones door for example, and peddle the Watchtower. Lets take a look :

ME : Hi there, we would like you to know about our beautiful truths [blah blah]

POTENTIAL VICTIM : Can you please explain the benefits of joining your religion:

ME (Wolf in sheeps clothing) : Yes, gladly. You will give us your entire devotion, accept our commands and instruction and our translations of the scriptures without question. We will control your life, your life will be devoted to getting us more followers and it will be a serious sin for you not to preach to people about us every chance you see. We will control even your work habits, your career, your friends will all have to go, and your family too, if we can - because they're under Satans influence. Your discussions will revolve around the ministry from now on, under guidance from our "mother" the ever loving Watchtower Society. You belong to us. We own you and God will be wrathful if we don't. We also [ I look away at this point] allow alledged peodophiles to be head of our congregation - and you must respect them. Do uyou have any children?

POTENTIAL VICTIM : No I don't

ME: Good. Because, if they ever need a blood transfusion, we demand you let them die.

POTENTIAL VICTIM : Bit mean, dont you think?

ME: It is loyalty to God. If you fall in love, we reserve the right to refuse the union, if your potential soulmate isn't agreeable to us. That person must be fully immersed in our way of thinking.

POTENTIAL VICTIM: What If I question anything you teach, along scriptural lines, of course?

ME: Then, you are an apostate, an agent of Satan potentially and your life is in danger. If it doesn't look right - ignore it. The WTS are Gods mouthpiece and only they must be obeyed. Ignore all discrepancies. No matter what. Even if it looks like we are lying.

my husband and i lament over the things we gave up to become jws.

i was a clarinetist (a good one, if i may say so myself) in the local citizen's band.

i had to quit it because we played patriotic songs.

Well, I haven't left as such , but now I'm in charge (apostate alert) and have finally stopped denying myself what I am.

Mark Twain " You will be more ashamed of what you did not do in fifty years than what you did do.". Another I love is (sorry I don't know off the top of my head who said this) is " I warn you if you allow to be any less than what you are capable of being, then you will be desperately unhappy for the rest of your life." AND ITS TRUE!!!!!!!!!

But the WTS don't want you top have a career, college/uni education, friends outside the truth, hobbies ( barely) any existence beyond them. They want you to sepnd 20 hours a week preaching to people and any missed chance to witness is a huge sin! They even tell you what you conversations should revolve around - "Jehovahs witnesses enjoy talking about the ministry". I tell you the truth, there was a time when I genuinely felt I should kill myself - become a JW or die. Gee, I'm sorry but how depressing is that - I don't mean to be blasphemous.

I suffered with ME (CFS) from 15, barely at college always off sick, couldn't hold work down to save my life (could move my legs for 3 days out of 5) and some days couldn't climb out of bed. After the 3rd time I had failed to hold a job(age 18) I was down but OK I knew my time would come (but doesn't it get harder under those circumstance?) but then some of the Witnesses were abusing me. One sister would stare , glare at me because I was out of work ( I started when a brother said his wife had been at work that day in the group and she looked over and glared at me - every day after when she saw me she would glare hatred at me) And so, when I got into art school I thought this is great I don't have to tell anyone what I do - because when they smile and say 'youre not doing anything are you?' I can just reply 'think what you will' without hanging my head in shame. I got excluded for so much time off sick - then the paranoia tore through me - they realy were my enemies, and the abuse I suffered from my JW family dragged the situation on. Inow suffer psychosis, and severe paranoia and split personality.

But, I can finally bee what I want to be in life. No one will take from me my destiny. I will be all I know I can be and hated by the JWs as an apostate. If I am to die, I will feel righteous in doing so. I know I am destined for great things in life, some thing the WTS denied me for too long.

Next year I will be all I can be if it kills me. Just as Bruce Lee says.

God's 'name'and the Bible

Hi. I think that we may never get the truth.

I see it as this - the Hebrews wrote without vowels ie: JHVH and YHWH is the translation of the tetragammon. So the WTS say we do not know the spelling of Jehovah let alone the pronounciation - this concludes that without doubt , Jehovah does NOT appear in the Christian Greek Scriptures once as it would be correctly spelt!!!! It doesn't appear ! A child can understand that concept! I was talking to an elder about this - and he walked away from me !!!!!

Latest JW Tract

i posted this on personal experience, but thought i should share it here as well:

i came home to find the latest jw tract on my door.

it was titled "the end of false religion is near" what a catchy title, never heard that one before.

Well, I had to laugh myself! I was actually a the KH last night, and one of the elders was giving a talk on making larger donations to the KH for refurbishment and the World Wide Work( or Peadophile protoction fund to those in the know) and I sat opposite him, in the back (one of only two people in there) constantly shaking my head (didn't put him off though) I went into the library to read up on the WT stance on rape ( a woman MUST scream - ridiculous as it is usually extremely dangerous to do so) what a surprise - the volumes I needed were strangely missing form the library. The plot thickens. I will go to another KH next week and look there - then we will see

A relative showed the tractme a couple of weeks ago, the 'working girl' riding the back of the wild beast and being turned on, hang on, there's something they're not telling us! But, as far as Deutronomy goes, we are no longer under the Israelie Mosaic law !!!!!! Peadophiles cannot change their behaviour it's a set fact, agreed on by all decent prominent experts. " You must not bring a dog into Jehovahs house" (somewhere in the front!)

I was talking to a JW the other day and stood telling him the truth about his 'mother' organization and he stood laughing at me (closed mind - if someone showed me what I believed was wrong I would lap it up!!!) I said to him give me your address and I will send you the proof " I don't want it " came the reply.

Kind of says it all doen't it???????

But, are we looking at this as a chance to isgnore the vital message??? How open minded do we have to be.

Why will the UN ignore the JWs during its persecution of false religion?

just another thought which i may have misunderstood but doesn't add up for me is how do the jws expect the un to destroy all false religions without touching the jws - or are they included in the destruction of false religion?

JWs teach they are the true religion and since it is Jehovahs Judgement, they will be exempt from the UNs action against false religion. However, soon after "Gog of Magog" will turn his attention to Jehovahs People and the persecution will begin.

Hope this clears thing up.

Do You Personally Know Of Any JW That Was Sexually Abused?

Well, you know, it should be said but I personally know an individual who was sexually abused by a relative (forced incest) for some time in the congregation. I won't speculate because I'll never know the full details and I'd really better watch myself but I think it went on for a number of years( a child abuser never does it the once as I later discovered) The funny thing is, no one listened to an eight year old girls cries becasue , it would " shame Jehovahs name"

So basically, it really was just ignored. I know the person IS a Pervert, because I know he performed a sex act on her child years later , but I should really tell you that. Its I think you'll agree, pretty disgusting. But, let's brush it under the carpet becasue Satans misleading us from the truth and so on and so forth. We're being conditioned by the world into thinking Gods spirit directed organization is something bad and we should never criticise our 'mother' the Watchtower society.

Its a beautiful thing. Unless you're a child of course.

I'm sorry, really I must disagree. First of all, masturbation is a selfish act, focusing on ones self pleasure and not that of others. Second, I argue it makes one hungrier for the pleasures of the flesh- if it feels even a little bit good, you want more . How do we get, sexual pleasure (true) But then, how many people would argue the other way, being denied that 'pleasure' warps a person ? Besides, masturbation is phenomenally boring - worse than playing chess on your own. Its rarely more pleasurable than emptying a full bladder. Nothings more pleasurable than emotional arousal - and sexaul arousal without resorting to masturbation, whatever happened to getting so hot you almost collapse when in the presense of a beautiful woman, don't think masturbation is quite in the same league.the excitement if you're dating of waiting for marriage will blow your mind.

I think of sex before marriage, how many Witnesses got married to expereince consumation if a) they weren't ready and b) they were'nt with the right partner. One could argue, sex before marriage is essential to see if you're sexually compatible ???

Certainly, severe sexual frustration is something phenomenally unbearable (so I've been told)

Incidentally, that Watchtower made me smile!! A little over the top however

Charles Russell a Chid Molester?

i recall reading a couple years back, some court documents posted on an ex-jw site that stated that charles taze russell was accused by his wife (at their divorce hearing) of sexually abusing a girl that they had taken in to their home.

does anyone have any information on this?

or know where i can find this again?

It's kind of funny, the stuff flowing round the internet, if I told you he was (well you can't get any worse than what he's being accused of) would you believe it? You can spread all sorts of nonsense with no proof whatsoever and people will believe if it suits their feelings and prejudices.

I read on an anti JW site that the watchtower of 1917 stated that Russell should bw Worshipped!!!! Do I believe that?? Well, the link is there - and it looks Genuine, which is scary (but very fun to show my devout friends!!!) but is it genuine, it could still be fake . How would we know Russell was a Peodo for sure if he was?

Well, his zions watchtower regular had quotes, (although again I could run a quote from the Watchtower of 81 that says " its just as unnatural to lust after a woman as it is to lust after a man" ( I have had an elder say that to me genuinely!!!) - doesn't mean its there though unless you've seen the original) that were shocking !!! So it is a huge stretch, the man certainly was very questionable.

I remember three four years ago, seeingon the net about the WT supporting the Nazi Regime. Utter Nonsense. We all know the WT society is non political - right. Well, looking at this site, Im not so sure........

JWs blindly deny kindness from non JWs

since the days of rutherford the dubs have entered into a kind of collective denial of reality through the morbidly neurotic personality and spirit of that very convincing liar which were engrafted on their collective psyche and since then they are unable to see and acknowledge the benefits they receive from non jws eg doctors, lawyers, judges, law makers and from ordinary folk.

deep down they believe there can be no good people outside the org.

they live in denial day after day and living beneath reality is not a healthy thing.

Hi GreenDawn. There is a famous saying (forgot who said it) " What we see depends on what we are looking for" and this is very true.

My whole family were brought up JWs (except me) although my mother remained staunchly 'religious' in her own way. One has to examine the facts , and as Homer Simpson says " Facts are meaningless, they can be used to prove anything."

Well, as Jesus said " Let him without sin cast the first stone.". We have all made many mistakes and grievances agaisnt one another in our time. But who has the truth?

Let's look at Jehovahs witnesses. ( It is not my place to discuss doctrine -most of the time)

The Watchtower is staunchly opposed to any sort of Ambition in life ( go on the ministry full time and get a part time cleaning job) Don't have any Non JW friends (always good that one. They have even suggested that you only talk to non JWs when you are preaching to them. Which if true - i would want as many chances as possible to 'choose life' before the end. Don't assosciate with family if disfellowshipped (don't even say a greeting) Your main topic of conversation ( " JWs enjoy talking about the ministry" society publications) is to be the convertion of people to the truth ( It is for their lives you know) Associate with the brother (as much as possible - providing they are upstanding christians of course) The assilimilation is classic cult behaviour???

If you meet a member of the opposite sex (sparks fly, the sexual chemistry is immense- you find your soulmate - your missing piece) If shes NOT in the truth - steer clear!!!!!! Beautiful . This of course - warps the brain - fighting the natural urges is self destruction. One can ( as a man) look at a woman and find her attractive, and feel she is beautiful, and get aroused (easy...) but obviously there's a line (Woman ARE deeply emotional creature.FACT People are not pieces of meat or ANIMALS - so thinking anything inappropriate is disrespectful and never gives one the surge of sensation that being excited and attracted yet respectful can - ever - so there is a benefit in moral cleanness) But to fight the feelings for women - IS the worst thing one can do (Not being a woman I can't talk of the other side of the coin but, again - one has to say, with MEN in todays society is it not a protection ???? ) Many Witnesses are warped ???? You can't say that it's a sin against God you know .My typings are a gross sin just know. Putting people off from the Truth, an agent of Satan - really .

As far as their stances go - I would say - nobody gets it perfect in their defense.

I can tell you alot - but then I certainly am at fault for much in life - so I would be a hypocrite. I am forbidden to tell the stories I could. But then , I am not perfect, not by a LONG shot. Witnesses are frail and imperfect - just like the rest of us. It is however, Imperitive, you do not speak ILL of other Witnesses - even if you aren't . It is a grave SIN.

Bottom LINE - The Watchtowers teachings are surely a Phsychiatrists nightmare (or dream come true if he's private and not state paid!) But does that mean their interpretation of Scripture is WHOLLY wrong - course not.

Time will pass. Alot of JWs are very kind - incidentally. We had one come when I was 15 to check our electric meter. A fine upstanding man.

I know I sensed holy spirit in that man.

most of us would never imagine that this religious organization of people teach and promote a theology which, in effect, sacrifices lives, even of children.

The bible is very specific in 'Abstain from blood', a 16/17th century Bishop states quite rightluy that it was never anulled in scripture.

It is worth noting that the actual compexities of blood are much more complex than type and the chances of finding a matching transfusion are 50,000 to one (yeah I forgot my source, but its good) And, it is worth noting, blood transfusions are BIG business. In the UK (Nhs) a 250 ml of unfiltered blood sells for £ 65. Yes in the NHS. Its BIG business my friends.

However, you have absolutely no right to allow a child to die for your beliefs - that IS child abuse. Tell a child God will let you live forever yeah they beleivve , and to a degree so do adults ( witness the vigin Martyr Situation - the brain is easily won over) So if another religion were refusing children life saving treatment on the basis of their religion - wouldn't the Society be trumpeting it as a 'aprt of Babylon the Great'

However, lets not miss the (very arguably misguided) truth here. I lived in a SSalvation Army hostel for a while, they happily gave us black pudding, yet refused us fish curry because it had wine in it!!! (aAll alchohol is evil to them see) But even the bible says a little wine is good for you , so who's closer to the truth?????

But then, the society can't see past their own noses. Yeah ' We pray for Gods spirit and are the faithful and discreet slave.'

Child Abuse anyone ?
