  could it be that this legend originates from a covenant agreement between the doctrinal control of religion and the brotherhood of the snake?.

  ok so after complaining about my city's pathetic tradition of celebrating st. pat's day by mass alcohol poisoning, i thought i would try to find out some actual cultural things about ireland.

  i tried the internet but almost everything i found was either pictures of green beer or drunk americans holding plastic shamrocks next to their green beer.

  to paraphrase myself, it is so sad to boil an entire culture down to alcohol and tacky decorations.

  hi aware today.....you said you are pioneering trying to dispel doubts.....I did a similar thing....I joined the foreign language field...all to try and keep myself in.......only thing was....I started to have doubts in Albanian as well as English.....he he......

  my belief in God is still as strong as ever.....I just found out that his so-called representatives were not what they seemed

  anyways........welcome to the board.......what is happening is scary....but you can get through it.....you will look back and laugh about it in years to come.........hang in there.....da ninja

  firstly....i have a problem here and have for years.

  i am prob part of a big jw club based on how all my old friends drink.

  but nightly i self medicate (nice term for gettin seriously buzzed to drunk).

  when i left jehovah's witnesses, my opinion of them was not going to change overnight.

  my sentiment towards them was integrated into my personality, all the way down to how i reacted to specific words, like "christian.

  " when i saw strangers who were jehovah's witnesses, i felt close to them, even though we had nothing in common.
