I never needed their help that much......I could think for myself.......some of our elders were actually nice guys.......but had to swim against the tide to be so

Were you ever counseled for being too friendly at meetings?
by Wasanelder Once ini had a brother approach me once to tell me i was too friendly.
i had the habit of greeting everyone i could in the time provided before the meeting.
it was done sincerely and with personal interest.

yep.....I was counselled for participating in breast cancer awareness week.......my god I only felt a couple of boobs.......but it seems the fat brother took offence

she has written a book called rowing the atlantic - lessons learned on the open ocean.
in the interview, she talked about how she was stuck in the corporate job rut and an unraveling marriage; she sat down one night and wrote two versions of her own obituary the one that she wanted and the one she was heading for.
