" what exactly are they talking about in these meetings.
things like "don't masturbate" or things like if you position yourself like this, and your woman like this while having sex, then you're fornicating?.

Regarding foreplay, I recall that it was regarded as a matter of conscience as to whether it should be indulged in, but it was one of those things that they wanted to qualify with a remark about keeping in mind Jehovah's standards.

My experience with weed is that it makes it hard to concentrate on anything or get anything done. I have not smoked any in over 26 years and have no intention of doing so again, but at one time was a daily smoker. During that time, I woke up every morning with a headache and had a hard time getting up because I felt so bad. My advice is to pass it up.

@ prodigal son - aren't glad you are out of that. There is an elder in my community who is an ex-Marine sergeant. Talk about a person without mercy! He likes to brag that he is seen as the disciplinarian among the elders.

Could you die without anyone noticing?
by AK - Jeff innot long ago i had 100 'friends' - or so i thought.
i certainly had 100 or more people who said they were friends.
then i left a cult, and found myself with very few friends - those kind in the flesh, in the community.

Well, I guess what I needed to say is that they would all notice right away. I love solitude, too, and have lots of time to myself as I work at home and the majority of my days are spent alone till hubby comes home from work. Though my kids are grown and moved out (one son bought the house next door), all the above are a big part of my life. I'm very lucky. I have a couple of good friends, too, that I care a great deal about, but we don't talk to/see each other very often. But we are there for each other when needed and have a great deal of affection for one another.
Since my husband was not a witness and my children chose not to be, I was in much better shape than a lot of people on here who only had witnesses in their lives. I feel for so many on here. I hope all on here in that position can make new friends, form new relationships, and have happy, fulfilled lives.

Nope, not me. My dog would be devastated. My husband would be, too, as well as my sons and daughter-in-law, grandson, sisters, mother, next door neighbors, and all the doctors I do dictation for.

i could just hang out with her and not have sex but she has not been in a relationship in a year and shes pretty horny.
im a normal dude so i dont want to refuse her.. i cant decide if im rationalizing my feelings.

I am with Mrs. Jones and leprechaun. Though I have no problem with sex before marriage, or better termed sex without marriage, you have to practice safe sex and avoid STD's, HIV, and pregnancies. And definitely do as Mrs. Jones says and educate yourself regarding sexuality. Theres a wealth of information out there, and it didn't come from the Watchtower Society either (theirs is called misinformation).
