hi everyone, just wondering what your thoughts are on people that say they are born gay?
ive heard that this isnt actually possible, and that there is no scientific backing to it, im personaly not gay but i was just wondering what some of you think on this matter, and if you have anything to back it up with, thanks,.

personaly i dont beleive in 'gay tendancies' (bad spelling) for example, ''jimmy liked to play with dolls when he was young no wonder hes gay'' to me being gay is about being sexually attracted to a guy, not someone who likes girls things, to me you never know if someone is gay untill they say they are, gay tendancies like dolls, or makeup isnt gay, its just dolls and makeup, it has nothing to do with being attratced to the same sex

my husband and i lament over the things we gave up to become jws.
i was a clarinetist (a good one, if i may say so myself) in the local citizen's band.
i had to quit it because we played patriotic songs.
its good to get out in the real world isnt it dawn! theres so many things that JWs put off because they think they can wait untill the new system, good to see your enjoying life!

i am "no longer one of jehovah's witnesses" as they say now, they no longer use the word "disfellowshipped" in the announcments now.

MUSIC! Ive always loved it but its become such a huge part of my life now, I listen to EDM (Electronic Dance Music) stuff like trance, house and some NRG, i also love DJing and mixing my songs together and making mixes, its the best, that would have to class as my hobby, although i was doing it while in the org.

many of us were victims of various kinds of abuse: physical, emotional, sexual and definitely spiritual abuses.
many people have created an atmosphere where it is finally safe for us to tell our stories.
we do this for a variety of reasons.
I felt like when i was in the JWs we were all different from the ''world'', and now that im out of it i feel like im one of few who have figured it all out, but im left with this feeling that i dont belong to the JWs or the so called ''world''. its strange, but it helps to see there are others like me, and it definatly helps to talk to them and share exsperiances.

are the offenders still out there ?
have they been dealt with by the law?
Just one last thing too, if they didnt get dealt with by the law is it too late to try and get them charged for what they did years ago? I know of one of my mates that was abused and he didnt even know if it got handed over to the police by the elders!!!!

I know alot of the bastards get away because no elders have the guts to do their bloody job and it sickens me, my best mates family had trouble with a sicko like that and i cant beleive the way people knew but it didnt worry them what he did, i mean like familys and mothers would talk to him, (im pretty sure they knew what happened).

I remember being interested in the subject a few months ago and looking into it alot, i cant remember what the websites were that i was looking at, but i remember that there was no actual proof that you could be born gay, it was said that there is more proof saying that you cant be.

please ban you tell me if an unbaptized publisher has an abortion is this an unforgivable sin?.
what would happen to the publisher if another jw reports them or they confess since they are not baptized?.
i agree with you mouthy, but at the same time that doesnt give us a free ticket to do what we want and then we can regret it later and everything is ok

personaly i think we are all born straight and everyone makes their own choice on where they go after that.
