Well, there's viagra. Then, there's also Daytona Beach and Ridgewood Avenue in case your wife gets tired of the stiff rope. Go down Beach BLVD, and ask for Brandy. If it's before 6:00 PM ask for Trish. Tell her Bruce sent ya.

Why the contradiction?
by JH injw's say that everything about us is in our blood and we are unique, and no one else's blood is exactly like ours.
so, they stress how unique we all are.
no one has the same dna as us.

As long as my weed is my weed I am happy. If you start saying my weed looks like your weed, be prepared to get hit over the head with a bottle.

Paul Did Not Write Hebrews
by Butters infor those of us who still read the bible, and believe it, it should be noted that paul did not write hebrews.
there is a clear statement in the bible that proves this rather easily.... hebrews 2:3 how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation?
which having at the first been spoken through the lord, was confirmed unto us by them that heard;.

I would not trust the Church fathers. That's one point. Trust the Torah. They don't. Love Yahweh's Sabbaths. They don't. Trust the good health habits of the food laws like Paul does. They don't. Eat clean fish, not swine. The bible teaches us proper meals. Trinity and other falsehoods, virgin birth, mary worship all that pagan stuff. Bad. Good Jewish roots. Truth.

Are we no different than JWs when it comes to expectations?
by undercover ini find it interesting that a lot of people who came out of the jw experience still have expectations of "big" things to come.. as ex-jws, we can quote wt publications and list references showing all the instances where the "end" has been predicted and we list all the failures of their predictions and hopes.. a lot of us use those failed expectations as a basis for no longer accepting the wts as god's organization on earth.. yet, a lot of people leave the jws, then become infatuated with the notion that the "end" of the wts or jws is imminent.. threads pop up from time to time about "how long can the wts last?
" or "what big changes are about to happen?
" etc.. when i read some of these, i'm reminded of jws and how they use the "evidence" of earthquakes, famine, disease and wars and reports of wars as "evidence" for the "end" being so close.. have we traded on "end times" belief for another?

Now I am listening to something a little more tasteful and happily destructive....
"Take a look to the sky just before you die, it's the last time you will!!!!!!" ...."Hear's the silence so loudddd!"

Let me just add one little tid bit... IT's A GAME 7 IN NEW YORK... Just look up the statistics on that one. Just go to NEW YORK and look at the face and belly of a new yorker with his big mug of beer in one hand and fat nathan's hot dog in the other. That tell's the story. Like the aforementioned post. Their goose is cooked. 7 - 3...

i love the give and take here - and will not be abandoning this forum - i just want to add a dimension to my spiritual thinking that seems missing at the moment.

What Do You Think About The "Faithful&Discreet Slave Class"?
by minimus inthere are so many new posters here now, i think this topic should be revisited.
i believe the most ridiculous belief that witnesses have is a "slave class" made up of 144,000 give spiritual "food at the proper time".
why can't jws see thru this??

Yes Minimus, I never could grasp that one myself. That chapter is where Jesus is talking about literal slavery under the Hebrew law and using the parable to talk about the Holy spirit. Paul describes himself as being a "slave" to Jesus and so on. No slave "class" though. This whole "class" of Christians bit was strange to me. I also had a lot of difficulty with Revelation Chapter 9 and their silly explanations too.
