When I was younger and couldn't get out of it, I used to pair up with my friend. We would walk really slow and not actually ring any of the door bells. I was really good at leaning into it and pretending like I was ringing the bell. We would just stand there and talk to each other until it seemed like we had waited long enough and then leave. When I was younger I also used to tell my dad that I had an RV. I would say "turn right here, go left, keep going, stop." I'd lead him and the whole car group to 7-11 and announce I had a Slurpee RV. Everyone would laugh and pile out of the car. They didn't care that I faked it. As an adult, I always inflated my hours....2 hours = 10 hours. 2 mags = 7 mags. Thank God that madness is over! When I see witnesses walking down the steet I still get that sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach remembering how much I disliked going door-to-door.

How did you get out of field service?
by return visitor ini had a boat that i always wanted to name "return visits" that way whenever i was asked why i wasn't in field service on saturday i could respond, "i went out on return visits" and nobody would be the wiser.
just wondering, did anyone else come up with a good way to dodge that question?.
