  obey us, obey us even when it seems strange, obeying our man made hierarchy equates to obeying god, sacrifice your own interests, work for us, don't be independent, put your own interests aside, obey some more, preach for us, build for us, enjoy it, obey some more, forgive when we are jerks to you and mistreat you, accept your changed assignment even if it seems cruel and doesn't make sense, don't complain if we move you (eg.

  ) because you might have to move in the new world, remember you are being trained to obey, remember to put your own interests aside, that's the way we are designed to live - it will only make you happy!

  while working on a comments for one of the articles in the march 15, 2015 watchtower (on types and antitypes) i decided to make a transcript of the talk that turned into that particular article.

  as usual, the article that finally saw print had evolved quite a bit from the original.. anyway, here's the transcript that i also put up on the ad1914.com site.. the 2014 annual meeting program video can be found on tv.jw.org (currently found under programs and events).

  so im here fine tooth combing the latest [mar 15th] watchtower propaganda leaflet the last study article, finding not a scripture in its correct context, [thats for another post, lol] when i thought, hmm, how many times does it say to preach in the bible.. so i go to bible gateway, and type in 'preach'.

  [ not preached] .

  i got 2nd timothy.. i read the whole 2 books of timothy.. an it appears to me, that paul, wh has his own agenda, wrote those words to timothy, after all it says a letter to tim, .

  This scripture is one of the things that began my awakening. We had just come from a Circuit Assembly where this scripture was used to prove everyone must preach. The following Wt. had just come out. After reading the following I began to give more consideration to context when reading the Bible.

  *** w71 11/15 p. 702 “Preach the Word”—Where and Why? ***

  "So from the context it is clear that Paul was not speaking about preaching to outsiders, but about preaching inside the congregation by one who was an overseer or “older man.” "

  Of course the article later said: "Since there must be this ‘preaching of the word’ inside the congregation, it is only logical that the same “word” be declared to outsiders".
  But that article opened a window for me.

  they reportedly have over 10 million baptised members world wide , as an offshoot of "the international bible students association", wouldnt you say they have gods blessing rather than jehovahs witnesses ?.

  yes, you read correctly..... all appointed men have been told in a new letter that they have to pioneer to "set the lead" whenever there is a "special" campaign month.

  they use some scripture saying that these ones have to show by example.... so for any of us who are appointed and have learned ttatt, it is going to be very hard to fade during this time!.

  back in 79-80 they came out with another wt stating quite clearly that jesus was not the mediator for most jw's and of course this upset quite a few and some asked "if jesus is not my mediator then how does god hear my prayers?

  ' does anyone remember what they said to answer this question?.
