the Ayr's rock pic is strikingly beautiful
As for the croc - words fail me - it looks too close for comfort!
well, i thought i'd start a fluff thread for once, so i'm posting here some of my favorite photos from my many trips over the years.
i hope you enjoy them and they inspire you to take awesome pictures on your own travels (or even your own backyard).

as i mention before i was going to move to califorina when i left bethel, to get way from debbie's parents.
so i thought the best thing to do was to go to the service department and ask them were they "needed help" in the bay area of northern califorina.........this shows you how totally delusional i really was at the time.........i thought i could still "help" others, by moving to area that needed help.......yea right!........
just what a conergation needed another "burned out" exbethelite.
thanks bruv
i would like to pose some questions that may challenge your thoughts, if i may.... .
former elders, while i may commend you all for seeing the real truth on about the so called "truth" and thus leaving the borg for what it really & truly is, a lie.
former elders, have you ever thought about or attempted to contact anyone that have been disfellowshipped by your involvement in the j.c.?
Sammieleeswife, just to clarify, when I wrote - the organisation is to blame - I meant to say the governing body are to blame. The elders are simply carrying out orders they have been indoctrinated to believe is coming from Jehovah through Jesus Christ. That's what they are reminded of again and again.
But with regard to child abuse and pedophiles - the society's policy ought to stop elders dead in their tracks and make them revaluate their position as elder.

I agree with sammielee24. The organisation is to blame.
My husband used to cry over disfellowshipping cases he'd sat on, and he'd very upset and unable to rest all night.

this is a question i've had for a long time.. according to the biblical account, adam and eve's sin was to eat fruit from the forbidden tree.. now, ordinarily, when we get caught doing something "wrong," we try to hide the "offending" member (the child tries to hide his hand that has the 'stolen' cookie; we hurriedly try to pull our pants back on when mom walks in unexpectedly while we're masturbating, etc.)..
so, if the "sin" of adam and eve was eating a forbidden fruit, then why wasn't their first impulse to hide their hands?
or to wipe off their mouths?
And why wouldn't it have been a screaming neanderthal baby or such?
facinating isn't it. The neanderthals have all disappeared - No wonder mankind is so wracked with guilt, pathos and the need of/to rescue. What I would give to go back in time and see for myself

Hey onacruse
just had a moment from needproof's topic 'Isn't it amazing how Christinas ignore the OT'
Animal sacrifices and appeasement - that fits too with the alienation - what we once were and now what we are. The Cain and Able story too. wow.
Don't know if I'm making sense. Somebody pls help

Hi onacruse
I'm also kinda looking at things from the perspective of tetra and jt.
Madame quixote you raised an interesting very pertinent point.
Cos the non hairy humans would have viewed the hariy animals as game and food eventually. So I wonder how that transition of once being one of 'them' and then killing - what one once was- impacted on their sense of alienation too.
there must have been a time when humans started to see themselves as humans and not as animals. Human culture must also have started to develop with all of its ramifications.
So for me the nakedness aspect has something to do with the furriness and non furriness issue as it developed

thank you for this place in cyber space, this is therapy for me.
there is something about writing things down, that helps put things in perspective........ the day i left it was pouring rain........i really screwed up, i found out the night before, as i was packing things up, that i had way under estimated how much stuff i had.
i had two large suit cases (that i could barely shut the lids on) and a large army duffel bag.
thanks for continuing your story bruv
