Thank you all for your kind words and advice. I am currently under a psychiatrist (although I only get to see them 2 or 3 times a year). I also had psychotherapy for around 2 years and CBT before that. None of which seemed to help so they just kept upping and changing my medication which also doesn't seem to help.

Give Love to Receive Love ???
by IMHO inplease help me understand this.
over the years i have seen and have heard of many who have changed congregation due to the 'lack of love' shown in their own.
you then hear many condemning such ones as 'having a problem' and 'taking their problems with them'.

Over the years I have seen and have heard of many who have changed congregation due to the 'lack of love' shown in their own. You then hear many condemning such ones as 'having a problem' and 'taking their problems with them'. Although the congregation may be known for its love why can't they accept that the love may not have been extended to those that chose to move, proven you might say by the comments in referring to 'their problem'.
It is true that I have seen love shown but it seems limited to an individuals close friends, others may be treated politely, they may get a 'how are you' and a smile at the meetings but that's about it. I fall into the latter category. Please tell me "Is it because I'm not showing love?" I suffer with social anxiety and depression for which I am on medication so find it very difficult to approach people and in the past (many years ago) I have actually been called selfish for "sitting in my chair and waiting for people to talk to me".

I to knew an elder who was always ranting on about being alone in a car with someone of the opposite sex (he picked it up from the then current CO), because what it may look like if people see you.
He used to drive around in his car with his teenage daughter.
YET, What would people think who didn't know it was his daughter?
ANOTHER YET, if people saw you alone in the car with another man, would they think you're having a sexual relationship with him?

Dedication of Buildings (e.g. Kingdom Halls, Branch Offices etc)
by IMHO injust did i quick search it doesn't seem like this has been discussed.. why it's such a big deal, especially with branches where they are usually "dedicated" by a member of the governing body?.
is there a spiritual, biblical, theocratic significance.. does it "change" the building?.
should it be "un-dedicated" if it is sold.. i await your insight and responses.. .

To add another angle.
Why is it that a matter of such 'importance' is a matter of 'personal' conscience. Yet what movie I watch or what clothes I wear should be determined by not upsetting the conscience of others.

North Koreans suspected of having contact with South Korean or other foreign missionaries in China, and those caught in possession of a Bible, have been known to be executed.
4. In Syria, Christians are increasingly becoming the target of violent attacks. Catholic and Orthodox groups in Syria say the anti-government rebels have committed "awful acts" against Christians, including beheadings, rapes and murders of pregnant women. A special 'Vulnerability Assessment of Syria's Christians' conducted by the World Watch unit of Open Doors International from June 2013 warned that Syrian Christians are the victims of "disproportionate violence and abuse." They warned further that Christian women in Syria are particularly vulnerable to sexual abuse.
5. In August 2013, Egypt faced what has been called the the worst anti-Christian violence in seven centuries: 38 churches were destroyed, 23 vandalized; 58 homes were burned and looted and 85 shops, 16 pharmacies and 3 hotels were demolished; 6 Christians were killed in the violence and 7 were kidnapped.
6. The bloodiest attack on Christians in Pakistan's history occurred in September 2013. Two suicide bombers exploded shrapnel laden vests outside All Saints' Church in the old city of Peshawar. Choir members and children attending Sunday school were among 81 people killed. The attack left 120 people wounded, with 10 of them in critical condition.
7. During an attack on a shopping mall in Nairobi in September, Islamic terrorists asked people for the name of Muhammad's mother or to recite a verse from the Quran in order to identify non-Muslims. One of the terrorists announced, "We have come to kill you Christians and Kenyans because you have been killing our women and children in Somalia. Any Muslims can go."
8. Four Christians in Iran will get 80 lashes each this month for drinking wine during a communion service. Ahmed Shaheed, UN special rapporteur on human rights in Iran, said that it is common practice for Christians to be punished for violating theocratic laws. In the UN report Shaheed wrote: 'At least 20 Christians were in custody in July 2013. In addition, violations of the rights of Christians, particularly those belonging to evangelical Protestant groups, many of whom are converts, who proselytize to and serve Iranian Christians of Muslim background, continue to be reported.'
9. An average of 100 Christians around the world are killed each month for their faith. (Note: There are several sources that claim the numbers are as high as 100,000+ a year.)

AGM Favoured Few
by IMHO inwhat is the point of a 'favoured few' being invited to assembly halls to hear a recording of the agm on sunday.. why couldn't they just play the recording at the kh for all to hear.. or are not the 'others' worth??

Does anyone know the exact criteria (if there was any) that determined whether in the UK, you were invited or not.
All I heard is that those who had been baptized over 30 years had their name submitted, so how come these spotty teenagers got invited?
Was it a case that if you were not listed in the categories St George of England kindly set out; your name was drawn out of a hat? Or did they go on how many hours you logged in the last service year? It certainly couldn't have been with the leading of the Holy Spirit otherwise why would some on here have been invited. Or maybe; if they were on here and invited it shows that jehovahs-witness.net is not so bad after all.
I'm rambling as it's late (in the UK) and I need to get to bed.
