  Need Help With Mexico/ Malawi!!

  huge news everyone!

  i recently had a breakthrough with my mom.

  we were debating last night for several hours, during which time brought up the mexico/malawi situation, which she of course being a faithful and blind witness, knew nothing about.

  On the topic of Judical Committees, my husband was an elder, myself a pioneer, know the in and outs, we were recently disfellowshippied, had no meeting, no prior indication, heard it thru mutual friends, had not been to the KH in 10 years. My husband works on a crew with a number of Witnesses, they have now fired him, we hired a lawyer, we have restraining orders not to come to our home. At present he has his job back. We were disfellowshipped for being divorced and living together before we remarried. So far they are in big troble...........

  Do you truly WANT the Watchtower to collapse? If so why?

  there are the abuses of course, the diabloical 'two witness' rule applied to allegations of molestation, the reckless 'blood ban' in all it's tortuous complexities (which by watchtowers own admission has resulted in many fatalaties) and the cruel punishment of shunning which has caused so much suffering and pain to many of us here.. is it for these reasons that you want to see the watchtower fall or is it simply that you want to see them humiliated and broken for what they've done to you?

  most of us aren't bitter or selfish enough to want personal revenge against the watchtower but i'd be lying if i said i didn't sometimes think like that.. the reason for my original question is that i sometimes feel a bit hypocritical.

  i try to accord respect to jw's and individuals of all faiths, (yes, even when i go off on one of my atheistic diatriabes) but whereas i allow myself to be hostile to the watchtower i shrink from being so forthright against other 'christian' faiths whose corrosive nature may not be so easily apparent but is there nonetheless.. i guess my question is; why do we want the watchtower to fall but do not wish all religion to fall?.

  I would like to see them take some personal responsibility in the incorrect information that they print. The WBTS has great influence over millions of lives, those lives look at the WT as inspired material which cannot be questioned. They have been wrong on so many things and they need to fess up to that. They are not prophets of God, they are not inspired, they are not infalliable so instead of publishing the mistakes of all the other religions, they need to take a look at their own.

  I have just read the book. I believe every word he says. There is no reason for him to lie, though the organization would like you to think he is. If you think he is lying then disprove any even one of the findings. I believe he has earned the credentials to speak out. It is so interesting that the typical programmed response from JW's is to dis believe his findings. So the organization is wrong on so many points, so they miscaluculate times and dates, so they police you inside your private homes, so they are double standard, their excuse is always (when changing policy) "things have been brought to light" BS! They have way to much control on peoples lives. I think it is horrible for ones to believe whatever they are told without even researching, The WBTS is not inspired - the governing body are not prophets, just try once to think on your own and see how far you get.

  Why did no one ever offer to help William? Is he getting help today? Nonetheless, he still did a terrible thing. I was a devoted strict parent with many responsiblities in the organization, my husband was an elder and the organization tore apart my children, monitored every move they made. Finally, as a parent it was too much for them to bear. They are healthy children today with a bad taste of JW from the past. I never have been able to forgive myself for the strictness, the disallowing my children to live a decent and normal childhood. However, I do believe parents as JW's can without knowing do lasting emotional abuse to their children because of the man made rules of the organization.

  I knew William and his parents. I believe he should spend a life in prison. There is no excuse for murder. You play, you pay. He was always a troubled child. Maybe if he would of had some help which is so against the way JW think. I am no longer one of JW's and glad of that, they can do funny things to ones mind but never make you kill another human being.
