  ATTENTION Lurking Jehovah's Witnesses.

  dear fellow jw's,.

  visiting this board and briefly viewing some of the comments here your probably wondering if this db is pro or anti-jw.. your probably asking yourself is this board for active, 'loyal' jehovah's witnesses?.

  i'm not sure i can speak on behalf of the posters at this db, however from my perspective i will "try" to set this matter straight for you.. are those posting here current jw's or are they hiding that they are apostates?.

  they have transformed their key belief into a cartoon type kiddies scene.

  is there no thought of child safety?

  Where are the umbrella factories?

  They were all created prior to Armageddon for the Thousand Year Reign.

  Good point though about the UV rays and perfect weather. Perhaps the sun is just to dang bright! Or maybe she figures she is dark enough.

  Who else would never accept to go to a Judicial Committee?

  i was never df'd.

  if ever the elders asked me to attend a judicial committee for some reason, i would refuse.

  i would never accept to go to their kangaroo court.

  The purpose of a JC is to readjust a person.

  Unfortunately, this is rarely the case. At this point I would still go. I am still playing by most of the rules.

  Witnesses and Homosexuals

  i know homosexuality is a serious sin against god.

  but how do jws view homosexuals in general?

  how do they associate with them if they ever come across one etc.

  If homosexuality IS a "serious sin against God", then what did David mean when he said that Jonathan's love was "more wonderful to me than the love from women"?

  JW teenage pregnancies...............did you know of any ?

  i was in the borg for 20 of my adult years and i must say that in all that time i only knew of one sister who got pregnant before she was married.

  she was given a public reproof and was never treated badly.. considering a lot of the teenagers did most things they shouldnt have and many did get reproved for immorality, i am surprised that many didnt get pregnant.

  especially as they would of likely not have been taking contraception.. was this common in you kh or area?.

  Yes. In all the cases it was handled with a JC. The dubs are not exempt. They are trying to instill good values though as I am in my children. The harsh punishment of some at such a young age is regrettable.

  I can't understand why the Witnesses think that the entire World is evil

  in their black and white world, the jw's think that everything that isn't jw is evil.. every day, i visit my dad at a nursing home, a place where dying people go, and i see so many good people, many volunteers, helping out the sick and dying.

  witnesses may preach and know their bible better than the average person.

  but i prefer people who don't know their bible as well, but have a heart and donate to the poor or help the sick and have compassion.. maybe one day when the average age of witnesses will be higher, maybe they will start to understand that there is more than preaching.

  saint peter addresses this guy, "who are you, so that i may know whether or not to admit you to the kingdom of heaven?".

  he smiles and says to the taxi-driver, "take this silken robe and golden staff and enter the kingdom.

  " the taxi-driver goes into heaven with his robe and staff.
