  "Paradise Lost" and "JWs in Divine Purpose" -- PDFs!

  i received a request for pdfs of from paradise lost to paradise regained (1958) and jehovah's witnesses in the divine purpose (1959).

  these are pdfs that have been around for a few years, so some here may already have them.

  the only difference is these have bookmarks added to them to aid in finding info quickly.

  Reading the "Divine Purpose" book when I was young gave me nightmares :-( I was completely convinced that someone was going to come to our house and arrest my mom and dad and take my sister and I to prison.

  I can put this research to good use. Searchable on the computer beats reading page after page any day!

  Former workmate dies, I'm in shock

  just this week we received some tragic news, that a former workmate died.

  i'm taking it kind of hard because i was his training officer when he first hired in.

  he was just a little younger than me and had suffered from diabetes since he was young.

  This makes no logical sense, is heavy with buzzwords, etc.

  What does Satan being active have to do with rising gas prices have to do with consolidating meetings?

  Hard to believe that I used to accept statements such as these as "food at the proper time".

  to grasp that the basic purpose of science is to produce useful models of reality.

  how to help him understand that trying to make observable reality "fit" around a collection of writings designed in its first half to inspire the oftentimes persecuted jewish people and in its second to consolidate the fragmented roman empire is an exercise in futility?.

  This is so true!

  I believe the JW denial of the Divinity of Jesus is a major factor in the fact that JWs come to feel that God is distant from them. I was angry with the JW God for many, many years. Learning the truth about Jesus as God the Son changed my life. I don't worship a God who stayed up in heaven and sent an angel to do his dirty work. I worship a God who came to earth and suffered as a man for ME.

  i have a lot of consolation magazines that i could scan.. if you want a particular issue for research, tell me and i will scan it, and you can tell to the board more what are your research, so everybody will have more insight.. .

  here is one of this magazine concerning the madison square garden incident.

  this incident is connected with the olyn moyle's trial and it is interessant to see the vision of rutherford concerning this.. he tried in this magazine to excuse the usher, because what he said on stage was "the word of jehovah", so nobody must stop the "spreading of the word of god".
