How the new "generation" study went down in the meeting today

i have not been to the meetings much for months, but i figured this was a pretty historic "study" and i wanted to see reactions and how it would go down locally.
well a few things struck me as a bit odd in the study itself, and in the audience response as well.

Slimboyfat,I enjoyed your comments.I felt the same.Extended period=short period of time.90 years=just around the corner=last hour.The kicker "the conclusion of the system of things and the end.Can be illustrated by a talk given at the Kingdom Hall.The talk is the last section which the speaker spends a little time.Q4 & 5 Talks about Jesus presence is an extended period of time.Just like their concluding prayers at the D.C. an extended period of time.
In our Hall,When they got to part "The Generation Seeing the Sign" it was covered very fast with few comments because they made sure all the time was gone by para 10.

Q10,11 Apostles,part of this gensration................ Apostles would no doubt have understood...........were to be part of 'GENERATION" that would not pass away.Then why did the Apostles ask Jesus all those questions if they understood?
Q15 Without spiritual understanding=GB of WT.Look at all their wishy washy understanding of the generation.In todays study of the WT they refer to the 1995 WT,why not to all the WT'S and publications that said "This generation that saw 1914 will NOT pass away before the end comes".

now on the un website it says "resolution e/1996/31 adopted in july 1996 to replace resolution 1296 of may 1968 rules the current arrangements for consultation with non-governmental organizations.

Who is right the WBTS or the so called Apostates.The WBTS say they registered with UN-DPI as an NGO to use the library to support the UN about human rights,freedom of worship,etc.Than when the Guardian reported in 2001 (10 years after the WBTS joined the UN) the WBTS disassociated from the UN.WHY WHY after 10 years of support for humans rights and freedom of worship.Do not human rights, freedom of worship, etc matter anymore.Should not the WBTS be more concern about human rights and freedom of worship more so now that they say we are closer to the end of this system.
