I am in a debate with Korean JW's over the divinity of Jesus. I showed them tons of scripture that imply that Jesus is divine. They reluctantly accepted those and argue that Jesus may be a "mighty" God, not "almighty" God and that Jehovah alone is almighty. What is the best way to rebutt their argument?

Was The paradise for the Great Crowd a doctrine initiated by Rutherford?
by ukescott ini am currently reading '20 questions jehovah's witnesses cannot answer' by charles love, former jw and elder.
this guy argues that the paradise for the great crowd on earth that jw's believe is actually judge rutherford's invention in 1935 to solve the delimmea that only 144,400 were supposed to go to heaven and there were more jw's living.
can anybody confirm that his argument is true?.

Thanks Leolaia for the clarification.
One more favor: Could you elaborate "protected remnant doctrine from prophetic failure"? Please pardon me for my ignorance of JW's historical background.

by ukescott inmormons claim that they don't have paid cleargy.
it is true if they are taking about local churches.. but they have so many paid leaders in their organization: the general authorities made up of the first presidency, the twelve apostles, and the seventies, and seminary institute teachers, branch office administrators and staffs in each country, and etc.. what about the wts?
who are the "paid cleargy"?

What was your final straw that broke your back in terms of doctrine?
by ukescott inas ex-mormon, my exposure to a different version of the first vision story which was quite different from the offical first vision was my beginning way out of mormonism.
what about you ex-jw's?
what, in terms of wt doctrine, made you realize that the wt is a fraud?.

Where does WT get their money for its operation?
by ukescott inas ex-mo, i know the mormon church makes millions of dollars each year by having its faithful members pay tithings and running quite a few businesses.
i am pretty sure wt as a corporate makes millions of dollars each year.
otherwise it wouldn't build thousands of kh's across the world i guess.

Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise?&!%
by ukescott inhi, i am ex-mo (ex-mormon) pretty new to this forum.
i need your help.. yesterday i engaged in a debate with a couple of korean jw's over "spirit" and "soul".. they argued that spirit is "lifeforce" like electricity that runs a computer and so when we die, we no longer exist in any shape and form.. so i asked them how they would interpret what jesus said to one of the bad guys on the cross "verily i say unto thee to day shalt thou be with me in paradise" (kjv).
this implies that a spirit continues to exist after death.. then they argued that the phrase has to be read in the following way.. "verily i say unto thee today, shall thou be with me in pradise" (nwt).

Hi, I am ex-Mo (ex-Mormon) pretty new to this forum. I need your help.
Yesterday I engaged in a debate with a couple of Korean JW's over "spirit" and "soul".
They argued that spirit is "lifeforce" like electricity that runs a computer and so when we die, we no longer exist in any shape and form.
So I asked them how they would interpret what Jesus said to one of the bad guys on the cross "Verily I say unto thee To day shalt thou be with me in paradise" (KJV)
This implies that a spirit continues to exist after death.
Then they argued that the phrase has to be read in the following way.
"Verily I say unto thee today, shall thou be with me in pradise" (NWT)
How would you react to this abusurd argument?
