The change in Lett's appearance is alarming to say the least. I was totally distracted from the BS he was spewing.

New GB update - beards are now perfectly ok (no really!)
by FFGhost into save y’all the agony of having to sit & watch lett (looking even more puffy and jaundiced than the last time), here is a summary:.
beards are now perfectly fine for anyone & everyone, including ministerial servants, elders, and “special full time servants” (cos and betheliites).. but don’t go and feel “vindicated” — even if you knew you were right about beards, you shouldn’t run ahead of jehovah’s “chariot”.. so there you go.. if you need explicit permission from a puffy steroid addled facial contortionist with an increasingly ridiculous combover to make personal grooming decisions…you might be in a cult .

No more REPORTING field service!!!!!!!!!
by BoogerMan inthis is going to break the hearts of a lot of uber-jw's!
reddit has now removed the video link of samuel herd telling jw's they will no longer have to report time or placements - just tick a box which says "active.".

I've long faded, but I say good riddance to bad rubbish. They can stop labeling people as low-hour publishers now. 👍

To Whom Do You Belong was my favorite, but only the version played by the live band during the assembly lunch break years ago.
I also liked Jehovah is our Refuge

Don't Want To Be At The RC This Year...
by JW_Rogue inthe whole time i'll just be thinking about what effect all those crazy loyalty videos will have on my family.
i can venture to guess that they'll be wound up and determined to "stay loyal" because this "is the truth" and "this system can't last much longer".
i have to go because not doing so would raise too much suspicion but i'm really dreading it.

I used to feel so conflicted, having to invite people to something I had no interest in myself. The dread was real. -

There are too many meetings to attend already. The field service meeting is just another one to skip.

Local Needs talk on Cleanliness and how youll get Hepatitis C if youre not clean.
by Jon Preston ini had to highlight this part because i was dying laughing on the inside when it was given.. the talk first starts by the brother bringing out how clean gods people were in the past and how he gave specific direction to the israelites for disposing if waste.
then he said that a sister stepped in gum outside on the pavement so we should not chew gum at the kh.eat mints instead!.
then he brought out an important point about keeping the bathroom sanitized and he says: "and just recently we found blood in the sink in one of the bathrooms.

If they clean the toilet with pages from the Awake, that should kill the heptatitis virus for certain.

Ive followed the pattern!!
by Jon Preston inso the wt must be well versed in understanding patterns in us faders.
first you comment less, less service, less meeting attendance, then you remove yourself from the school, etc etc.
is there a psychological aspect to this from a non jw point?.

When I grew tired of all those platform assignments, I simply started missing meetings whenever I had one. After so many years of being enrolled in the TMS, I was elated to get to the end of that dreaded counsel slip thinking it was over...boy was I wrong! What? I have to start over again??? No way..that's it for me.

If Someone Mocks Jehovah's Witnesses Does That Bother You?
by minimus inevery once in a while i hear people purposely make fun of jws, calling them hovas, jeehoovers, etc.
i don't think that's a good way to reach them..

Doesn't bother me at all. As a matter of fact, I get the chance to see viewpoints I wasn't privy to before.
Besides, the JW religion mocks other religions all the time and continues to do so.
