  My First Interview

  well, all that work on my resume has finally paid off.

  i just received a telephone call to set up my first interview.

  it's today at 1:00. if anyone has any access positive vibes or warm thoughts, i'd sure appreciate if you could send them my way.

  Do You Remember The Last Time

  long time faders and those who have been out for a while....do you remember your last day in field service or your last meeting?.

  my last day in field service was a "million" years ago.

  but, i remember it vividly.

  Law suits by the Society against websites

  on this site and others i have been reading about the watchtower society suing bloggers and website owners because they quoted the watchtowers publications.

  a couple of observations.

  if you quote a publication that was publically distributed by the millions of copies, how could you be liable?

  The Society has unlimited resources and can easily afford the legal costs of such a suit. Quotes could not.

  Yeah, but the child abuse lawsuits are going to cut into their funds.

  i made my short presentation of the watchtower or awake magazine.

  They've only been to our trailer twice (since 2004). Once before I had found this place and was dealing with the cult issues, and once since. The first time, I took the mags and gave them a dollar. I tossed them in the trash. The second time my brother answered the door. He took the mags and I threw them in the trash.

  YAY!!!! I got my finals back from my financial class!!

  and i passed with a b!!!!!

  most of my grades have been above a b but with this class even my friend told me (who is a number cruncher), they gave us an unfair advantage because they threw in all kinds of variables that was a bit too advanced for a person starting out.

  the college is going to change this because they realize it is a bit much for "beginners" but we weren't so "lucky" to have it changed for us.

  Kelly Clarkson JW Connection

  i have not see this on here, but my dad is friends with kelly clarkson's aunt.

  she is a jw in the area and evidently very close to kelly.

  kelly invited her aunt to the american idol finale with her mom and dad, and they even interviewed her aunt on the local news.
