It's a boy!!

my wife gave birth to a baby boy this afternoon!

he doesn't have a name yet so any suggestions?

for all those that care (seems only women do) he is 10 points even and over 22" long.

SAD NEWS. MY FATHER HAS DIED

only about 15 minutes ago, i learned that my father died up the hospital this morning.

I Deeply mourn your loss, as I lost my mom 10/10/06. Prayer was the ONLY thing that got me thru and the scripture Ephesians 6:12...because alot of emotions can surface during a time as such from sibblings and the like...so stayed prayed up...My prayeds are for you and your family....evette

i always had a problem with the idea that everyone except jw`s deserves to die at armageddon.

Can someone instruct me on how to copy and paste a quote...plzzzzzzz. Rebirth, are we married to the same man? cuz thats all I hear from my husband, I go out but I dont drink....I had a beer saturday nite (mind you I sat in the car while doing so ) and my goodness I was ev'thing but a child of God, and me being a christian didnt help matters( and I really dont drink, but just had a taste for a beer), always calls me evil with such hate, when the most important thing is to LOVE!!! So I say Fruck'em and feed him catfish. I will continue to pray for the scales to be removed!!! Continue to Love him Unconditionally!!

My Dad's funeral was yesterday

last sunday, my dad passed away at age 76. he knew since last april that he had cancer.

his funeral was yesterday afternoon.

many friends and family members attended.

Jesus Loves you and He knows the exact emotions you are going through. The very peop;e that you have in your life (JW's) who supposedly represent Jehovah cant even begin to Love you with the Love of Christ bcuz they dont know His Love and Mercy...How can they console you? My Sis was a witness for 25 yrs, however because of her strong love for our family it was a burden for her. She finally told Jehovah, "I Dont Want To Live On An Earthly Paradise If Its With The JW"S!!! Because They lack Love. I remeber her telling me she wanted a relationship with God like I have. My husband studies with them and I can see where they lack love but he took the wkend off from work and enjoyed himself, he even danced .

My Mom passed oon 10/10/06 and we had a Celebration!!!! It was so Beautiful!!! We laughed,laughed and laughed....Members from her church said they had never been to a Memorial Service like it! We were so Joyful bcuz my mom never had a relationship with Christ til 7/06 so we had alot to be greatful for. BTW her Service was 2 1/2 hrs away from the neighborhood we gre up in and abt 25 people showed up from there. Family members will always drive or fly the distance.....I encourage you to pray for the hearts of yr congo...and you ask Jehovah to reveal His True Self to You....I Promise you He will!!!

Is 'Jehovah so selfish..."

hi all.. just wondering..... jw's state the the reasons for not celebrating birthdays, anniversaries etc is that it takes the focus off jehovah and onto another person/s for that day.. my question: is he so selfish as to not allow each person to celebrate their own special days?.

also, does the wtbs allow anything that is remotely considered 'fun' to be celebrated?

(other than assemblies, meetings etc, like they were ever fun!

I thihk Jehovah Loves us so much...His Word says He knew us while we were being knitted together in our mother's womb He knew us, His thoughts are always of us....If we believe that He is in control than surely He thought specially of the day you were to be born...born in wedlock or not. He is the giver of life. I celebrate my husband's childrens birthday who live with us(another talk show) with the party, cake and gifts...and they go to the kh with him. Last xmas I had a nativity scene set up with all the gifts for him as well...do u think he or the children refused them....NOT!! To sum this up.......CELEBRATE!!!!

Where is the Love

ugh...i dont know how to really start this,,,but i'm a christian and my husband was b4 our split in p1...however he returned home 3yrs ago on 12/17.

however he returned a jw wannabee, actually he studies with them he hasnt been baptized in the org...its so funny how i am picking up alot of the lingo here ev'1 uses...lol....anyway, i can see where his love is so conditional and i hv to remind him that god loves us "unconditionally".

i continue to give him the true word of god!!

Funny you shd mention " taking care of the needy", cuz i hv a homeless feeding ministries where as i feed the homeless 1x week sunday dinner...and I mean delicious home cooked meals, nothing cheap...and I'm not tooting my own horn but its my husband who continually tell judge me on doing this and how it will not help me into God's Kingdom...however I press forward...Feed My People Ministries will celebrate its 6th birthday 9.07...My God will supply all my needs, accordiong to his riches, mind you I hvnt worked for 2 yrs on 12/17 and the government gives me no state aid...so Praise God!!!

one thing that jws do, whether they were "strong in the truth" or not is accept presents.

even if they don't "celebrate" thanksgiving, they'd still take the turkey from the employer.

if someone sent out a birthday gift or christmas present, a witness would still take but never givein return.

your are funny. My sis was a jdub for 25 yrs but whenever christmas rolled around she would always struggle abt the gifts...and wld run out and buy. Growing up we always had a wonerful holiday with new clothes Easter, 4of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Birthdays (7 of them and 3 were in December and we did get separate gifts from our xmas gifts), and Christmas was always special. We wld get 1 big gift like a bike or skates then we wld get alot of games to share and plenty of clothes...my mom was the pprovider and we Never went without. so for my sister to disregard Birthdays and chrismas for her children in her mind was a big injustice to them . so she no longer has the struggle and guilt beind it now cuz she is FREE!!!

it seemed like so many jws were either unemployed or self-employed.

they were always changing jobs.
