ok, since we were all discouraged from having children in the wt world; i was wondering how many have reconsidered raising children for the sheer joy of parenthood and passing on their heritage.

even if not practical right now, how many would like to?

i've killed off rhett and will be posting with this name now.

some people like having a bunch of posts credited to them.

i think it just goes to show you have too much free time on your hands.

I do have too much free time on my hands. That's why I'm on here so much. I'm just not too wild about keeping track of posts and titles because I think people's message should stand on its own and not how many others that have been made. I know I'm in the minority on that and if anyone out there is really happy to have their thousands and thousands of posts and they're happy about it then that's great! I just don't feel the same way.
I could have just switched and kept quiet about it but knowing how various other posters love to point out when one person uses more than one name for whatever reasons I didn't want it to look like I was hiding everything. I guess when I kill off elbobbo I just won't say anything about it.

Actually, JT, I couldn't care less what people do with their time. I do have too much free time on my hands which is why I post here so often. If others want to hit their daily 25 post limit and do so every day good for them if that's what they want to do.
I'm also not leaving, just switching to a new ID.
I've said numerous times that I don't really like the way that people get titles and it seems, to me at least, that people with more posts generally have their posts taken more seriously. The way I look at it, I want my posts to speak for themselves regardless of how many I may have made. I don't like the way that whole system works so I'm not going along with it. If other people do want to I'm not going to try to stop them. Hell, I don't even try to talk people out of being a JW if they're happy with it.
I must admit though that I'm being somewhat of a hypocrite with this thread because I've whined about people announcing their depature on numerous occasions. My reasoning behind it is that knowing all the super slueths on this board who like to figure out who new posters really are would be accusing me of trying to hide something and I'm not. I just don't really want to go along with the whole keeping track of how many posts someone has and the titles and everything. Its more of a chosing the lesser of two evils situation.
As for what elbobbo means, nothing at all. Its just a bad joke that I thought was kind of funny. Go ahead and call me rhett or elbobbo if you want. Rhett Bourland is my real name so don't worry about using it.

Nah, I know elbobbo will take just as much time. I'd rather just not have a number showing how much I post. When elbobbo hits 666 I'll switch again.

Hey aguest, if the US is such a horrible place for blacks then why are you still here? Tell ya what, pack your things now and I will personally buy you a one way ticket back to Africa where your life will be oh so much better because you won't have to live in fear of white people. Sure, there's a very good chance that another black person will kill you or you'll have poorer sanitation and medication to treat illnesses but since you seem so concerned about the atrocities faced by black people here I will personally buy your ticket over there just so I don't have to put up with your whining anymore because if you go back to your homeland I can almost garantee that you won't be able to have communications like you do here.
Or, and this is just some crazy idea, accept that while it is horrible that black people sold each other to slave traders, your life is actually much better now than it would be if that never happened just the same way life is better for the many Irish, Chinese, whatever nationality, people who's ancestors came here and sacrificed much to make a better life for themselves and their families.
