I have an all wheel drive Vibe. Bought it at the beginning of December and have put almost 7000 miles on it already. Other than being a bit under powered I have no complains. It has a lot of Toyota influence in it, so if you are used to the average Pontiac there will be a few changes. I had a hard time getting used to the automatic headlights. I disconnected them but the daytime running lights were so bright that I forgot to turn on my headlights, so I reconnected them. I really like the fold down seats, makes it nice for hauling things.
Overall I am very satisfied with it and would give it a recomendation, would be nice to see it with a more powerful engine though. Just don't think "service car" when you are looking at it and it will be just fine.

it's been a while since i have posted here, but i still try to read a thread or two when i have time.. question: does anybody have dreams/nightmares about being a dub?
over the course of the past couple of months, i have had some really realistic dreams about my younger days as a dub.
usually they involve me in a heated argument with my parents about going door-to-door.
Well at least now I know that I'm not the only one! Now that you mention it Dawn, I did have a dream that I was at a circuit assembly and everybody kept trying to talk to me. I was getting really frustrated because I had to keep telling them I was d/f'd.
My wife suggested that I go and talk to somebody about it, but I don't know if having to discuss it, and explain it all to somebody would actually help. We'll see what happens.
Robyn- I'm doing great, thanks. Other than those pesky dreams, things haven't been better. And you?

Greetings to all!

Usually they involve me in a heated argument with my parents about going door-to-door. Some times I wake up and it takes me a while to figure out where I am (yes, I am at home in my own bed), and that it was just another of those dreams. I have been out for almost 8 years, but the dreams have just started recently.
Is this common?

PS. Feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]
for some of us on this forum, we're so far away from one another.
out of curiosity, do any of you have any photos of where you are from, or the communities that you live in?
here's one of toronto.
We have the worlds largest musical fountain. The water is lighted up and dances to music.
On the coast of Lake Michigan.
The pier.
A picture of the pier at night.
This place has the best damn pizza that I have ever had.
And of course, what fun would it be without the snow.
We are also Coast Guard City, USA. Every year there is a week long festival to honor the coast guard.

a few of us use our real names as our handles, but most of us use something else, such as a nickname or a variation of our real name.
iiz2cool - it was not my nickname (i really don't think i'm all that cool), but that of an old friend named mike prezelj.
i won't go into how he got the name, but it happened when we were all very high, and you had to be there to understand.
It means just what it says... my dad is an elder. Not very creative, just something that popped into my head when I signed up for the board.

indy weekend starts in just three days!!!!
it is one of the few weekends i really look forward to each year.. anyway.... my first question is... are there any predictions on a winner?
will helio go for three in a row???.
I goto the Indy 500 every year. I don't know if an official Apostofest would work there, but I wouldn't be opposed to a bunch of us meeting up and having a beverage or two on the day before the race. Getting tickets are never a problem, it is legal to scalp tickets there, and thats how we get ours every year.
I probably should have thought about doing this earlier in the year, but I wouldn't be opposed to trying it next year. Feel free to e-mail me if anybody would be interested, and I'll try to figure someplace that we all can meet. [email protected]

sparked something!
many americans are... well... mutts.
I am a mut from my fathers side. German/Finnish/Dutch/Scottish, maybe a little Irish and a little inbred Kentucky.
My mom's family came to the USA in 1953 from Malta. She was 100% Maltese, so I guess that makes me about 50%.

Second... is anybody going to the race that would be interested in an Indy Apostofest? Or even just a quick hello?

do you smoke?.
would you live with a smoker, if you are non smoker?
i wouldn't be able to smell cigarette smoke at home nor in my car.
I am usually a non-smoker, but occasionally have one or two at the bar. However, when I smoked regularly, I never smoked in the house, and only in the car with the windows down, otherwise I only would smoke outside. I couldn't live with a smoker who smoked in the house, I hate the smell of stale cigarette smoke.
I like to smoke cigars on occasion, but not as much since I quit smoking.
