Hello everyone,
Thanks for your messages, both public and private.
Not really got much to update, other than that they have managed to get him a bed on ICU without having to move to another hospital, which is good. But he doesn't seem to be responding to treatment at the moment.
Thanks for everything again, will let you know how it goes over the next couple of days.

he has renal and respiratory failure as a result of the quickest onset of pneumonia i have ever seen... it came on in the early hours of this morning.
he is waiting for an intensive care bed but the nearest one is 200 miles away.

Just to let everyone on here who knows my dad, that he is seriously ill, and unfortunately on life support. He has renal and respiratory failure as a result of the quickest onset of pneumonia I have ever seen... it came on in the early hours of this morning. He is waiting for an intensive care bed but the nearest one is 200 miles away. Therefore he is still in a Priority booth at Accident and Emergency. The prognosis is not good. I just thought you would like to know, and can send healing vibes, good thoughts, etc etc, whatever it is you have done in the past that I know has strengthened him. Tried to get in contact with my witness sis via mutual "friends" and after that experience I have never been more sure that Jehovah's Witnesses are CUNTS. That's all for now. Will update when I know anything. Best wishes, Faundy. xx

Why are wedding rings allowed?
by Newborn inas far as i know, the wedding ring custom, origins from pagan worshipers so why is that allowed by the wt???
i've never saw an article abt that in their literature.
isn't that to swallow the camel?

I was always taught that even though it has pagan origins, it serves as a sign to people and a protection.. however much like bollocks that sounds.
Bridesmaids are pagan. As is wedding cake. But JWs are allowed those too. Once again I think it's a case of them picking and choosing what they want.

Aw, JG, you could have met a nice man if only you'd stayed in and gone to assemblies...

The thing about the cross is that whilst it's nice to wear something that reminds one of Jesus (obviously if they're a Christian), why would someone wear around their necks the instrument that killed them? You wouldn't wear a noose around your neck if your best friend hung themselves, and I just think that if God exists, why would he be reminded of the tortuous death his son (am not getting into a Trinity debate) suffered and be happy about it?
I just think that sure't there's another symbol to depict Jesus than the thing he was killed on (or not, again this isn't that kind of debate).
My friend killed herself with an overdose; I wouldn't wear a pill around my neck to remember her.
Just a thought.

Ugh, do you have no insight whatsoever? Of course she acts like she doesn't care- elated behaviour is one of the most glaring signs of bipolar. You say she won't go to hospital- then get the authorities involved. Ring the emergency services; they will send an ambulance for a psychiactric emergency like they would any physical emergency. Then she gets sectioned, either on a two, or a three, depending on whether the decision is taken by her doctor or the police.
You need to do more research, instead of being on here, bemoaning your lot, talking about how you want to leave. Although if you did, she'd be better off, I'm sure.

I'm afraid I'm disappointed with this thread and the responses of some of the posters.
I'm sure that mental illness is difficult to live with in such extremes, but however hard it may be for you, it is ten times worse for your wife. She will be confused, frustrated and desperately lonely. I work with such cases as this all the time and your wife needs to be in a hospital, where people at least care for her welfare and don't simply complain that the curtains aren't up at the window.
Think how many thousands of couples deal with alzheimers, dementure, bi-polar, schizophrenia, personality disorder... you're not alone. And there are support groups, etc. But flirting with SweetStuff when your poor wife is living through a nightmare every day? I think it's shameful and disgusting, particularly to parade it all over the web.
Have some respect, both for yourself and your poor wife, who needs urgent medical help.
