Yeah, this will be my 2nd letter to them. I've gotten no response from the first one yet. I sincerely think that it is just their way of putting you off for as long as possible, plus if they tell EVERYBODY with questions to write and snail-mail a letter, in this e-mail age, a very small percentage will actually do so.

What "Unwritten Rules" Did Your Congregation Have?
by minimus ini knew of a hall that allowed only white shirted speakers on the platform for sunday public talks!
when a visiting speaker did not wear the official white shirt he was either told that he couldn't give the talk or he could change shirts,as the hall kept a variety of sizes, just in case of an emergency!!!
i don't make this up.

The congregation that I grew up in I'm sure had some, but I was too young to notice I guess. But the congregation that I eventually went to, the one that I gave public talks in, we had the same rule about ONLY white shirts on the platform. No beards was another big one. That is the ultimate unwritten rule in my opinion.

by forsharry inso i was talking with an girlfriend that i had (actually the only friend i had in 'the truth').
we have recently reconnected, and she's still on the fence as to whether or not to go back into the org.
however, her aunt, an elder's wife and all-around snot rocket, let her know what was going on in the truth (i'm guessing to get her to come back full-time cause 'look at all that's happening, and it's the end!

Yep, just like folks didn't need to plant crops in the spring of 1925 because the end of the world would be here before they would need to be harvested.
And just like folks didn't start families in the early 70's or go to college, because the end would be here by 1975.
Deuteronomy 18:20-22 tells us how to view that...
