Children Do Not Get Enough Sleep in Watchtower

this past memorial was an exercise in waste for most people.

drive to the hall, fight for a parking space, get booted out of your seat, and then listen to a stale talk for 45 minutes.

then the big event: passing the plate of crackers and glass of spoiled grape juice.

The children get the brunt the most in so many negative ways with the WT cult: boring meetings all week,,door to door (very unstimlulating) suits & ties always for little boys (they grow up & leave JWdom and hardly will ever wear suits/ties again!), no birthdays,no holidays, can't have school friends, no school parties,,no extracurricular school activities, flag salute issues,,many can't do music programs for fear of patriotic & holiday songs, etc,etc. Very few leaders of JWs have ever had any children: GB, Bethelites, CO, DO and they push the rules to the parents who ignorantly follow to make their children follow empty rules. Then if the children got baptized, then later rebel or disagree then are df'd by everyone they've known and their families. Then, the children have an identity crises because they didn't get to be just kids and have their own hearts all along the way. The children suffer the most!! I was raised in it since 9 years old (in mid-50's) but left the WTS in mid-80's, raised all my children to have free minds (4 of 5 have graduated college, the fifth about half way done) I am now a proud grandma.

i would suggest that whenever you email these settlement stories to the your local press, or any press for that matter, make sure you include the ones with rick mclean in them.. .

he is america's most wanted pedophile, this is big news!!!.

last wednesday night.

get this though, a df "brother" called the house today looking for me, he told my mom that he wanted to talk to me about something he heard last week, she told him i'm at work today and he wanted my work number which my mother refused to give to him.

i wonder what the heck he wants.

Yes, that DF "brother" encouraging to come back to the organization,,& sure, he wants to help you(blah-blah),,he's sound totally messed up!! Wouldn't trust him at all! He has "forked-tongue."

The world IS getting worse!!

i'm telling you- i honestly think people are getting more immoral!!

i saw something on the news last night where some bicycler got hit in the middle of the road in the middle of a huge intersection and people were slowing down to go around him.

that was at some urban centre in tel aviv, israel.

Even in Jesus day,,he gave a parable of the good Samaritan because people even then had the same attitude of not helping people, so nothing new under the sun. Of course, now most people would at least use their cell phone to call the police right away, if they were fearful to stop & help.

Does the Society or congregations announce death of GB member?

do they make an announcement at the congregations?

have a moment of silence?.

They would announce it at Bethel,,,but oddly there or out in the congregations,, they really don't care much.

in the early 70's at bethel, knorr spoke down at breakfast commented about a brooklyn heights news article then about jws, complaining that jws were taking over brooklyn heights.

He chuckled saying, "We are not only just taking over Brooklyn Heights, but over the whole world!" We all chuckled (me too :( . He would be rolling over in his grave (or where ever) that JWs are selling out Brooklyn Heights, and getting out of Brooklyn Heights altogether is the plan and have not taken over the world in 30+ years either.

I am so glad that so many young people are leaving the WT. I wonder maybe many parents are subconsciously allowing their children room for a little more self-thinking as many parents, tho still believing, could be tiring out, getting depressed, broke or somehow not making WT life all that desirable.

but i simply feel that, for all of us who have suffered persecution from the watchtower society, their.

end may now be in sight.

I hope for the youth to be able to achieve a better life, go to school, college,,enjoy just being kid, challenged with reality. The old people will stay with it, 'cement' in the brain happens! (I am a grandma now so I can talk about old people like that!)

I liked it,,how disrespectful of the GB it is to tell 99.9% shouldn't partake (teaching the majority that they are not chosen). The film showed the obsurdity of the empty ritual. JWs insult Jesus.
