In the lastest WT, Jan 2013 online, shows an example of a guy getting baptized at 20. (at least if he had baptized earlier he would have no doubt been DF'd and shunned). He had two other siblings waiting till older also. Seemed like the WT was accepting this as probably better for the guy. Kind of example to waiting till these kids are older??

what is the value of Patterson WT properties out there in the hills? Could it or would it be hard to sell? Or, would it just be a another long-term problem being dropped on Candice and attorneys to have to try to sell and finalized,,just the free labor JWs getting pulled real quick out of that property would be a headache to upkeep.

The ploy to request the bond to be backed up by selling any property in upstate New York boondocks is valueless. It would take them 'years' to find any up and growing business/company wanting those properties. Those properties are not for an up and positive growing business. They are almost unsaleable for a very long time.

My brother died tonight
by poppers injust got word that my youngest brother died of pancreatic cancer.
he was diagnosed in early august.
this has been really tough for me and my family..

What the Domestics part of the "new light" can / will create
by Gorbatchov inthinking a lot last days about the new light about the fds, today i got an idea about the following.. - both the 1) annointed and 2) the rank and file witness aka great crowd are now part of the domestics.. so, in practice, it doesn't matter you have a heavenly or and earthly hope for the future.. because, the domestics can have a heavenly or an earthly hope.. what i think is that this part of the new light sets open the gates for jehovahs witnesses with a heavenly hope.. and more in future: how longer the "new systems of things" will stay away, the watchtower can switch to a doctrine with only a heavenly hope, "living for ever in a paradise in heaven".. what do you think about this?!?.

It might give some the possibility that maybe some of their loved ones went to heaven after all, even tho they didn't 'partake' (because maybe the deceased didn't realize any choice factor). May comfort some the thought that their loved one may have passed on to a better life already and are not just dissipated out there 'somewhere' or just in a grave area all these years/decades 'waiting' to be resurrected.
Anyway, this change opens up some ideas. These changes and time probably have put many into a "shrugging" mode.
I think with this "93 years later" change, will cause some to ponder 'what else will/can change?' about 'any' of it from the GB.

Talked to an elder
by Nika Bee ini am at home now, my family knows that i am out and it's somewhat ok.. during the time i spent here, i had the interesting pleasure of talking to an elder who i've known since childhood.
just for the background, he always regretted not going to university and there where also issues with military service.
but this discussion was kind of, well, interesting.

JWs say they are better than the Catholic religion. Not much to boast about really. The Catholics, I not defend, yet do not promise this world is ending soon (for a child 'soon' does not mean 20, 30, 50 yrs later). They do not deny children, holidays, birthday parties, college,,they don't make them do a church work as JWs must spend weekends and summer vacation going door to door alot,,go to longlasting days of conventions in whatever weather sometimes..The Catholic Church are the same as JWs to make the kids feel guilty about 'everything.'
Truth does not change; inaccuracies, lies and falsehood have to change all the time.
Obviously, the WTS has no control over the "pedophile" problem, and should admit it and should accept that Caesar (thank God for Caesar) will at least 'try' to do 'something' identifying, incarcerating them, getting registered for all to know when they are living in neighborhoods, requiring all reputable businesses and organizations for background checks. Amazing how 'wicked' Caesar has the moral backbone to try to get these people.
About Sodom and Gomorrah, the WTS has done 6 or 7 "flip-flops" about that one over some years . (Now, since the WTS has demontrated a record of their getting their kind of truth clarified taking a span of 93 years on one of their most important simpleton teachings, well, I just don't have that kind of time myself.)
Actually, the poor elder sounds stuck and depressed.
