Will be interesting if Nescio gets in trouble and WTS makes him close it.

so now what?
by Kaltas1 ini don't really know what to say i'm a bit nervous.
but i am new here and i want to say thank you all for these forums and the many contributions people have made.. for about 9 months i been frequenting here and other places on the net while i have undergone an in depth bible analysis.
after finding that my bible is not consistant with the more favorable options of translating greek words especially in key doctinal areas, i have concluded the great unlikelyhood of jehovah's witnesses having god's blessing and approval.. not just that though.

One day at a time is important. Fortunately, your wife has concerns too. Enjoy your growth as you study more. You probably know more Greek, though a beginner, than any of the GB. Welcome and look forward to hearing more about your process. Best wishes to you both!

Mom who regrets ever having her two kids
by skeeter1 inthe mother who says having these two children is the biggest regret of her lifeisabella dutton, 57, says she wishes she had remained childless'i resented the time my children consumed.

I suspect many to most in the 'upper' levels of the organization, the full-timers, that will boast they are waiting for the 'new world' to have children, really just don't want children anyway, period. They hide that behind the self-righteous guise of because of the 'work' in these end-times. Though, I know a few that just got so caught up in the organization 'work,' waited, and later wished they had children, but must now keep it a secret. I know a few that were honest to me about that at Bethel.
It is evident that the leadership have no real concern or empathy of the children, by how they instruct parents with children. They present a burdensome life for children, to go to programs that are not children realistic, to dress up as businessmen/women in suits/dresses and deny them their normal sports, children's activities/celebrations normal for children. It is clear the JW children must just about skip their childhood phase and the light-hearted activities. They are only taught the heavy, overly seriousness, teaching them predominantly the horrible things in the world and a need for God to destroy the whole works, and the children too. The WTS teaches a form of child abuse, maybe not physical, but mentally, and emotionally.
No wonder about 66% of JW youth eventually leave, many with 'baggage.'

What is the GB doing about the "2,520 years," we studied uncountable hours, pointing to 1914 from 607. as their 'additional' proof of the "end?" Seems they are not touching that one for now. They made scripture and their history into scramble eggs. How does one unscramble eggs. (Not a question)

Bethel may be laying off unproductive or unneeded Bethelites; but their staff at branches is increasing. 2011 Service year, worldwide, was a total of 20,595, but 2012, worldwide showed a total of 21,612 staff at branch facilities. ???

How can anyone who is truly spiritual-minded attend Bethel and not realize it's all a scam
by sosoconfused innot that i was any better(lol - but as i sat back and thought about the time i spent there, and the things i saw i feel disgusted.. i could literally write a thousand stories about the discrimination, favortism and all out dishonest that took place but i doubt anyone would actually care.
the one thing however that really sticks out in my mind is when i was in a nice room with my roommate that he kind of inherited after his previous roommate left.
it actually had a bathroom and we both had space for real beds(not those dang trundle beds like we had in standish).. .

Most were only about 19 yrs old that went into Bethel, raised in. Most are boys with very active parents in JWdom. Back in the late '60s and early '70s, how many could pioneer and get a 4D classification to avoid military draft during Vietnam war. Many finding pioneering not very stimulating nor fulfilling could go on to Bethel, signing up for 4 yrs. and maintain their 4D classification. To break that 'vow' then was critical, a negative judgement; certainly putting much shame on them to leave Bethel early. Families and congregations wouldn't understand. Many did leave before their 4 years though anyway.
Bethel activity and Primary classes kept many from being able to think independently early on. Then, after a while there is even pressure to stay longer and make it a 'career.' Actually, it is an odd minority that just 'loved' Bethel life. Then, for others, it's for the 'cause' and an uncertainty of where would they go, especially the longer you are there.
I remember when I got called to Bethel was my happiest day, in '69. They called in several special pioneer gals. My brother was already there. So surprisingly, though I was only a reg. pio., they accepted me. After 4 yrs (completing my vow), I married a Bethelite there. Many couples (at least some wives for sure) were waiting for the new world for children. Thankfully, after another additional year, we left, starting a family. Leaving Bethel for family life which was bottomline what I ever really wanted. I shudder at the thought of still being there after all these years.
Actually, for some of us, it took even awhile to gradually phase through things. But after Bethel, I no longer had an "idealism" about Bethel, nor the organization as there it was clear who was "controlling" things. I had to turn over and over many "dominos" many times to create my "track" to freedom.
