  November Study WT "Train You Child to Love Going Door 2 Door"

  been catching up on some jw reading and found a gem in the november study wt in the first article, paragraph #11:.

  yet, you might look beyond the obvious and ask yourself, does my child enjoy the ministry or only the breaks?

  if you discern that the ministry could be more interesting or more rewarding for your children, set goals with them.

  JWs make their kids skip the stage of childhood, and just put on the act of some form of a adulthood. Generally, there's a form of payback eventually. Then, most kids leave the organization with a lot of psychological stuff to sort through.

  When I had my children, I started re-sorting 'everything' and re-evaluating how I would raise my children and what values to teach my children. I realized I would not place on them the burdens/rules of mostly childless men.

  I know many who were raised JW who left JWism and most could not bear to wear a suit for many years.

  I agree with you! They are trying to hook you and him with' false insinuation,' to only defend yourselves. You have no obligation to have to do that. There motive is suspect and intolerable.

  i'm a dub proctologist.... attempting to hijack greatteacher's thread "jw parents in severe car accident,".

  diogenesister seized my observation that "bloodless surgery is the standard today, not because of the wtb&ts but because of medical progress" with he carefully-crafted argument "bull crap.".

  I am not giving an ounce of credit to the WT about blood transfusion alternatives or improvements. Until they put up their money for medical colleges/universities clinics and labs and encourage their own children to go to college and become doctors or medical teams, they don't do a thing for the improvement of life or mankind.

  It's comparable to the JWs to try and take credit of making Australian Commission development to develop programs to take care of abused children.

  in the last 5/6 years, i've read many threads, some made me laugh , others sad such is life , but was a very pleasant experience.

  so i though it was time to introduce myself a bit.. im portuguese although living in the u.k. atm.

  So happy for you truly! So awesome to have analyzed so much and researched a lot. You saw the key to not get baptized. I assume your father is not an elder or ministerial servant? I expect there is quite a trend of parents who have grown children not baptized, or not active any longer, that are struggling, but still secretly have contact with their grown inactive children.

  Changes and why

  so far these are all the recent changes i know of, please add more if i have missed anything.. 1. all construction projects have either been stopped or reduced.. 2. all bethels are downsizing by at least 20% within one year of the announcement, and almost certainly more in years to come.. 3. remaining belelites will have to make their own food, do their own washing and cleaning.. no more laundry department, no more kitchen and waiters, no more housekeeping!.

  and you still only get 80 per month, but no rent or bills, and food will be provided in the family fridge but you have to prepare it yourself.. as to why, it has been said several times officially its not because of a lack of funds, but how could that possibly be the truth?.

  can you imagine laundry day,,& the fights over the wash & dryer? irons, & ironing boards,,laundry detergent, softener, stain removal,,,buying groceries,,cooking fiascos, cleaning washing dishes, fighting over the vacuum, etc. etc. (

  No Kingdom Halls would definitely work!

  last night we were invited to a get-together with quite a few heavies attendingelders and regular pioneers.

  there was beer and later some music.

  everyone got relaxed and let down their guard and starting talking all kinds of non-theocratic stuff that you only discuss after a few beers.

  really shows the cult "group control mentality" of JWs. They never go along with 'other' (non-jws) groups, but totally follow the group among JWs.

  The "group" mentality control really works for the WT org. Though now I wonder when some to most goes digital, not in a closed room environment with devout JWs, what will happen to the mind control tactics of WT? These videos or sorts, ones maybe will be able to push "pause," or not, run to bathroom, fix something to eat, take a phone call? then, tired, fall asleep on the nearby couch. All that will break the dulling mind hypnosis.
