Another Interesting conversation with my father today
by joe134cd indad - sister x had been visiting a lawyer as she is wanting to write her disfellowshipped daughter out of her will.
apparently her lawyer told her that if she leaves the daughter just $1000 then she can’t contest the will because she has been given her inheritance.. joe - oh thats unfortunate for the daughter as sister x is worth many times that.
no doubt despite been dfed she has still got to pay bills and survive.. dad - sister x isn’t happy about the life style her daughter is living.

Didn't GB Morris suggest recently that if kids don't get baptized, then they shouldn't be allowed to get their license to drive either (a strong-arm method, true).

Wow! Sure wish that could have been videoed!!! Certainly Courtney planned this and hope he and Helene have found personal peace and continue now for more exposure of this hateful organization. Great if they could be on Leah Remini's next A&E about WT org./JWs. (I hope Leah will do another).

This season 3 about Scientology by Leah is to "Follow the Money." It will be interesting on how she goes about this. She wants to challenge the 'tax status' of Scientology. Will it be possible? Does the IRS have responsibility to verify such religions as being truly helpful to members and in what way? Can unsatisfied members/ex-members have a say about their treatment?
Will that be possible for the Watchtower to be challenged?
Why shouldn't all claiming religions be required to be transparent and honest about their money, receiving and expenses?
Could she accomplish such an event?

Apostasy Movie - Available on Amazon Prime Video (plus Review)
by Simon inin case anyone is looking for a way to watch it, it's on amazon prime video.. (apologies if it's already been mentioned).

I watched on Amazon a few weeks ago. By the end of the movie, I felt the 'suffocation' of JW life. Sucks the life out of people.

I watched it a few weeks ago. I realized at the end I was hardly breathing. It showed the 'suffocation' of the JW life. Lifeless, empty.

by Jayk inin a nutshell.
a group of about 6 women who have been friends practically their whole lives that i personally know are leaving there jw husbands.
my understanding is they're starting to see the hypocrisy of the .org.

In Arizona, the judge gives "full" medical right/authority to the non-JW parent. Hopefully, the son is interested in extra-curricular activities at school and will have no time for JWism. Unfortunately, no doubt JW parent will have his right to take his son to JW meetings, but maybe not all, just on Sunday. In Arizona, the never JW mom was granted that the children can only have a Bible study only with JW father and no one else in JW cong. The never JW mom was counting on the father wouldn't really do a Bible study with kids for long, not a follow through type JW father.

I just rented the movie "The Children Act." (Direct TV)The movie shows clearly the moral/court dilemma of the JW blood issue with JW teenagers. The Court ruling for "blood" for JW teenagers and how it can cause of self-destruct for the teenager. How the JW teenager has been programed against the blood transfusion. How does the JW kid deal with the control by the Courts without a flood of negativity or the defilement taught by JWisms. Who can they go to sort out this kinds of spiritual/emotional (?) depressions.
This movie is based on a novel which is inspired on a 'true' account. A judge did make a ruling for the blood transfusion for a young JW young man, underage, around 17. He visited the kid and the kid loved football and they talked a lot about that. The judge later after when the boy had the transfusion and was well, took the kid to a big game and introduced all the players. Seven or eight years later the young man, then of legal age, denied the transfusion and died.

why the watchtower is so short of money
by pepperheart inthe watchtower is so short of money because they have to pay for all the upkeep of so many branch offices around the world.because so many of the branch offices are in very poor countries and they are not balancing the budgets.

"Here's a thought, if they were so poor why did they announce that they would let go of all Congregational loans for Kingdom Hall renovations ? ""
Possibly there was a legal glitch ,, maybe law said they can't do inner "loans" with congs.?? Against "religion" laws by gov.??
