For all the Witnesses proud about the coverage due to Jackson Family
by KW13 ini've lost count of the number of times witnesses have pointed excitedly to the most obscure references and mentions to their religion.
'look...look we're in the paper'.. what i say next isn't related to my personal feelings regarding michael jackson, however it needs to be said.. what i would like to say to all the witnesses, proud that their religion is gaining coverage through the whole michael jackson fiasco is this.
take one look at the mental state of those family members and tell me they are what you would consistute as 'normal' and 'wise'.

How ridiculous for the JWs to be proud,,,Kathryn had 10 kids, one did die within a day of birth,,but eight out of 9 left JWs (what a record!), all left JWs,,only one is still a JW. Janet never was baptized. Michael's kids will be informed that their own father disassociated from JWs,,the kids will probably eventually find out that the organization totally critcized their father,,they have about 19 cousins that have parents who have left JWs, so most cousins probably don't associate. Michael's kids will never really fit in to the JW world. I know they've been told their dad is going to be resurrected "soon".
My little sister in 1970 was told our mom would be resurrected "soon".. Forty years later, she tells JWs at the door she was lied to by JWs,,and then they leave quietly.

by mouthy inthat micheal jacksons kids are being raise in the wt.

I am wondering, do you think it is possible for a judge to render a temporary "joint" custody to Kathryn Jackson and Janet, if they could have a compatability. I prefer just Janet, of course, but since clearly Kathryn is in the will and not Janet, maybe a compromise could be met.

I so understand your feelings,,I too am a grandma,,and I my heart is so concerned for these beautiful children and my heart just 'sunk' at seeing the picture of those innocent children at the Hall with those new songbooks. I wonder, how the court coming up will bring up concern regarding the blood issue, since Kathryn would definitely not accept a blood transfusion for these kids,,,,I will hope the court proceedings (coming up next week I think) somehow can 'blast' that issue to the forefront. Any opposing lawyer would see that as a very strong argument. Dear Mouthy, let's be hopeful. I see only Auntie Janet as their best option at this point. Take care.

Some things really ticked me off at the meeting last night...
by wantarevolution in...aside from the snooze fest that was the "bible study", taken by a brother who was 5 minutes late - went 10 minutes over and obiously hadn't prepared shit for the meeting (this is the same brother that "encouraged" me to be 15 minutes early for all meetings to welcome people).
1) i had the no3 talk, about "christians helping the poor", no source material or anything.
i played it good, spoke about our duty to be good christians, and charitable to everyone, and how it is a conscience matter as to how we donate our money or charitable deeds.i even used a quote by mother theresa.

I am a grandma,,I truly hope Janet can get the kids. This is the first 'ray of sunshine' I've seen for those beautiful children since the death of their father. With their grandma, I fear history repeating itself, between her and the grandfather. He would drive them hard to the entertainment limelight to his gain and grandma would drive them hard to the hard driving, negative, child unrealitic high mind-control religion as she already has manifested.
****The grandmother would not be able to accept for the children to have a blood transfusion if ever necessary.*** I hope a judge will take this into consideration and hope Janet has her lawyer emphasize that. Michael got a "double whammy" in his childhood. No wonder he wrote the song, "Have You Seen my Childhood?" Janet has the experience of the public demand life and JW life, she obviously does not embrace the religion.

i used the word "apostacloset" when explaining that i'll come out of it when the time's right.

I've known it to happen a couple times. My sister-in-law's father had known a brother disfellowshipped,,talked with him on organizational issues that were deceitful and false..the disfellowshipped brother turned him in and reported to elders. So my sister-in-laws dad was called in for JC meeting,,saw what was coming and he went to his lawyer and mailed them a letter from the lawyer if his name was announced on the platform in a negative way he would sue them. He was a businessman in a little town area and wouldn't have his name announced from the platform in their JW slandering way. Some inactive or disfellowshipped ones will 'turn' in such ones, possibly seeking points to get back in favor with the elders.
Many JWs may quit going to meetings due to personal problem or because of local issue with others JW members or elders. Some even disfellowshipped,,but they never research, investigate the organization itself. The organization still has its tentacles around them and even though they are totally unhappy, they still insist that the organization is the "truth'. Sad situation for many,,they're not in and they're not out,,kind of a 'limbo', miserable state, stuck.

Michael had a “double whammy” childhood.
A very harsh driving parent and also raised in a hard driving, negative, high-mind control religion not allowing children reality is enough to ‘do in’ most children. No wonder he wrote his song “Have You Seen My Childhood?”
Now with Michael’s children I hate to see history repeat itself. Jehovah’s Witnesses expect children to always act like adults, no birthdays, Christmas, holidays, suits and ties always, to 5 meetings weekly and regular door to door, no non-JW friends, no college, no organized sports, no school extracurriculars, no freedom of thought, etc.
Next for the kids, rule #1, Paris will be counselled that she must wear a dress and the "Princes" must wear ties.
Fortunately, they have about 19 cousins now that have parents that are no longer JWs and hopefully they inform them that their father disassociated from the religion as it proved to not work for him.
