  "Get Over It!"

  this is what my children tell me... get over the whole jehovah's witness thing!

  yes, they tell me they have gotten over the whole thing and they tell me that and i need to also.

  my exgirl friend who was raised as a jw also has said the same thing.. my children say they got over it, however they are quick to point out how messed up their lives are now because of no college education and other missed opportunities.

  If someone stole from you, say maybe $1000, you get over it. If someone made you make a jump and you fell and got a broken arm, you get over it. However, if a thief stole your (and uncountable others) house and life savings and this person is responsible for the death of uncountable lives AND yet this thief unfazed runs freely throughout the world to continue with their fraud and cost of uncountable lives, I will not get over it!

  However, we must try, to develop ourselves with positives for our health, and a joy to share with our loved ones. I, too, have had to make an effort to not discuss anything about this "thief" with a family member who was once a JW.

  so the organisation has developed a new software for the coordination of nearly everything!

  i just want point out a few things i notice about the new hub icon logo.

  the image contains twelve pillars with the 2 at the front being the prominent.

  A question on this HuB, notice at timing of 6:10 ,,show how many congs. in Aruba, Canada, and U.S. ??? Shows extremely 'low' count of congs on their screen, quite low compared to formerly 'printed' stats on 2018 service yearbook. ???

  (is this just reports updating as they come in- sort of 'depending on timing' thing? - )

  Seems they may be running out of any existing "partakers" that can even replace their existing GBs as they age, and lack any impressive speaking 'television' projection ability, and sanity. Though their "remnant" numbers may be increasing, any impressive "remnant" doesn't exist. I wonder if a modern day "Rutherford" (person or group) will step up and try to take over!

  What is the longest distance you drove to attend a summer Convention?

  here is a photo of the milwaukee brewers ( american baseball team) county stadium.

  for some reason, we were assigned this outdoor stadium for our 1975 four-day summer convention.

  our congregation was located 90 miles away on the north side of chicago.. some congregation members stayed at milwaukee hotels for the four-day convention.

  '58 to Yankee Stadium from California. Nobody I knew had a/c then (that started I guess in a Cadillac out that year). Stayed on a ship from Europe docked for the week that brought over European JWs who had hotels to stay. On ship, in lower decks the air ventilation wasn't very good on it, especially first day.

  i recommend this book by a gal raised mormon.

  but her father was more offshoot, more anti-government, anti-medicine, anti-institutional education ( list goes on) .

  she never was in classroom till 17 years old.

  Parts of her experiences, most exJWs raised in will relate.

  Spiraling stats since last year. Greece 2018 peak pubs decreased 1.8%, decreased also in ratio pubs per population, decreased pioneers 3.4%, congs. decreased 3%.

  No wonder the org not gonna publish much of their numbers anymore!!

  i think they finally gave up on me..

  According to WT. 2018 Yearbook?report about 50% of listed "Lands" showed a decrease in Memorial Attendance.

  I expect at least that again this next year. (If WT. dares to report any decrease numbers in future.)
