American Idol Ban by JW's?

how many jw's do you figure watch american idol?

even though it's really just a singing competition, the words and intent of the show in making someone into an american idol/aka celebrity go against the grain of everything jw.

i think this is something that should be brought up at the meetings in order to keep worldliness out of the congregations.

How Far Up The "Ranks" Did You Go In The Organization?

at age 18, i was a regular pioneer.

at 20, a ministerial servant.

at 24 an elder.

i used to hate that stupid damn rule about head covering... when i became devoid of all privileges in the cong I went around my mums for dinner one night with my sister and after some embarrassing pauses my mum gets a towel and covers her head and proceeds to give the most shitty stupid, pointless prayer you could ever hear in your life , .... i never forgave her for that , she might as well prayed to Satan... stupid women!

I log on daily and i value the forum immensely and i wish to give my thanks to the mods and a lot of the contributors who give huge research and work, including Narciissos, Mary ,Blondie, Little Toe, and any one else who I have missed ......... oh yeah .., Abandoned.... you make it all worth while .. but also I have been deleted 3 times , so hope i will last a bit longer this time..

My Bethel Experience Part 9

the the worst thing, someone could call you at bethel, was a "jack".............. as in " that guy is a real jack, he doesn't work at all".

the other term not used very much anymore, was "pot licker" used basically the same way.there has been some bad things done at bethel.

you name it, someone has done it...........but the absolute worst possible thing, a bethelite could do is be a theft!

Yeah, so I go to the meeting the other day

so i live in indiana, and we got a lot of snow the other day.

so i come home from work and it is really pretty bad out, but i've lived in indiana a long time and i've driven in snow and it's not hard you just need to be careful.

so i go to the meeting (yeah i'm dfd i told all you guys this).
