To cut through all the crap all you have to do is remember that the greek words anti and its composite piece christos arn't translated.
It is simple, anti = against or oposed to. And christos is Anointed or Apointed / of God. Or to spell it out, "all who are oposed to the Anointed of God." From Jesus all the way to the men and women with the Anointing today, whether they are JW, or from other walks of life. If you wake up to the fact that the 144k are just the FIRST FRUITS, you will see that the HARVEST is also ANOINTED TOO! There are many more thousands with the "Calling". They are all "virgin" in that they are not in the MATRIX of religions their hearts are pure and follow the insights given them.

Or, try and bring the ideas and message of the scriptures up to your ability to understand what was being wrote about. We are in the 21st century. We live in the "heavens". We can call "fire" down out of heaven. We can clone.

Who, what, and why we are is in that book of books.

i may start a series, "classic articles".. this article is from the watchtower of december 15, 1971. title: "a governing body as different from a legal corporation".

.."on friday morning,october 1,1971,the legal corporation known as watchtower bible and tract society of pennsylvania held its annual corporation meeting"..... fine, but here we go.. ..."at this meeting a question came up and was discussed from the platform.

Practice of JW concerning Facial Hair

im relatively new to the board, but i wanted other people's opinions.. growing up in "the organization" i pretty much blindly adhered to all instruction as a teenager.. as i got a little older, as most here im sure, i began to see how some practices were imposed on the flock without any biblical backing.. one that bugged the living hell out of me was the restriction of being allowed to grow facial hair.. i was literally removed from carrying the mics and reading at bookstudy because my sideburns were too long and i wanted to grow a goatee, hence i often showed up with stubble.

i was taken to the back room and told i was being "too worldly.

" when i questioned the elders why it was unallowed by the society and that i wanted scriptural evidence and backing for their imposed regulations, i was scoffed at and told i should do as i am told.. i told them where they could stick their "priviledges" .

The day I left military service I grew a beard and only shaved it off for a week just before my baptismal questions started. When it started to grow back and I was asked I just responded with that I felt like such a complete hypocrite that I am growing it back. The pic of me at the baptism showes me with a full beard! Not one person ever mentioned it to me. Maybe my being bald on top though caused some sort of "compassion" to come up in their hearts? ROFLMAO

SOLUTION! The internet! Where those with the "insight" can gather and discuss what they are given to know. With out the Big Brother of the WT/GB crapping in the clean waters!

Is it ONLY the JW's that knew of the Anointed?

what are your understandings or knowledge about this?

are the jw's the only ones that were given "insight" as to who the saints are?.

for a jw info board it is interesting that there is so very little on this subject of the anointed here.
